The Yellow Rose is the first novel I've read in quite some, but I'm delighted to say that it was well worth the wait! Gilbert Morris has done an excellent job weaving an exciting tale of action, adventure and romance. He's created a wonderful balance between historical fiction and romance, a nice blend of narrative and just enough facts to set the tone of the story. Hosting a radio show for Christian living doesn't allow me much opportunity for reading novels, but I'll be sure to make the time to read more of the Lone Star Legacy series. I'm looking forward to reading book 3!
