About the Author
Ed Cross grew up in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, Australia. After a 1965 ski trip to Thredbo, his passion for skiing eventually led him to Aspen, Colorado. He worked for the Aspen Mountain Ski Patrol from 1971 to 1988. Ed began writing poetry in 1971, and credits the Aspen Poets Society with his renewed interest in writing new poems and cataloging his early poems.
