So far, the magical world of Ireland sucked eggs. Her dreams of rolling hills, rugged men, and wild adventures had given way to facts that tilted her universe, spun it around, and spiked it headfirst into the ground.
The world held too many secrets.
Tori Monzelle leaned her shoulders against the cold interior wall of the van and tried to blink through a tight blindfold. Nothing. She couldn't see a thing. The carpet in the rear of the van smelled fresh but was rough against her pants, while she sat with her knees drawn up and her hands tied behind her back.
A metallic taste filled her mouth. Her mind whirled, and she tried to focus, but her breath panted out of her lungs as if somebody squeezed them.
The vehicle hiccuped a couple of times but ran smoothly for now. It would experience a mechanical glitch at some point. Her curse was predictable. At least then she could run.
She cleared her throat. The whole situation was just so surreal. If she could get the two kidnappers to stop the van, maybe she could get free. "Listen, jackasses. I'm done with this entire kidnapping scenario. I promise not to tell anybody that supernatural beings exist. Just let me go."
A snort came from the front seat. "Supernatural," one of the men muttered.
Her chest heated. "So you think you're natural. Then how about I refrain from announcing your species even exists?"
Where were they taking her? The sounds of drizzling rain and honking horns filtered in from outside, while the two men breathed loudly in the front seats. She hadn't recognized either of them when they'd arrived at the penthouse an hour before. For an entire week, she'd been held hostage in various luxurious Dublin locales after having been kidnapped from Seattle. The last penthouse where she'd been kept even had a piano. Finally, she'd been able to play music and had created a new score.
Then they'd come for her — again. This was the first time she'd been blindfolded during relocation. That couldn't be good.
Had it only been a week since she'd learned the world wasn't as she'd thought?
Immortal beings existed. As in really existed.
"Are you witches, demons, or vampires?" If she had to guess, they were witches. They were just a different species from humans. So far, she'd seen witches create and throw fireballs, and she'd met a demon who'd shown her his fangs. She had to go on faith that vampires really existed, but at this point, why not believe? "Mr. Kidnappers?" No answer. She'd seen their faces; the only reason to blindfold her now was to keep her lost and confused. So she couldn't find her way back to safety. She shuddered.
The van swerved, and she knocked her head against the side. "Ouch." It was time to get free. "This is international kidnapping." Did witches care about international laws? Her shoulders shook, and a welcome anger soared through her.
The van jerked.
"What the hell?" one of the guys snapped.
The world tilted.
Something sputtered. The engine?
An explosion rocked the van, and it started to spin. Her temple smacked metal. Pain flashed white and red behind her eyes. She rolled to the other side across the carpet. Breath swooshed from her lungs. Blood welled on her lip, and she blinked behind the blindfold.
The van stopped cold, and she rolled toward the front, her legs scrambling. Her forehead brushed the carpet and she shook her head frantically, dislodging the blindfold.
The front doors opened, and grunts sounded. Men fighting. Punches being thrown.
The back doors opened, and light flooded inside.
She turned just as broad hands grabbed her ankles and dragged her toward the street. Kicking out, she struggled furiously, her eyes adjusting and focusing on this new threat. A ski mask completely covered the guy's head, leaving only his eyes and mouth revealed. With the light behind him, she couldn't even make out the color of his irises.
His strong grip didn't relent, and he easily pulled her toward the edge, dropping her legs so her feet could touch the ground.
She threw a shoulder into his rock-hard abs and stood. He was at least a foot taller than she and definitely cut hard.
Everything in her screamed to get the hell out of the area and make a run for it. She was smart, she was tough, and she could handle the situation. No time to think. She leaped up and shot a quick kick to his face. While he was tall and fit, he probably wasn't expecting a fight.
He snagged her ankle an inch from his jaw, preventing the impact. Using her momentum to pull her forward, he manacled his other hand to the back of her thigh and lifted, tossing her over his shoulder in one incredibly smooth motion.
Her rib cage slammed into solid muscle, knocking the wind from her lungs. She stilled in shock. Her adrenaline spiked, and the blood rushed through her ears. Free — she had to get free. This guy was too powerful and way too much in control. She couldn't fight him, and there was no doubt she was outmatched. Fear sharpened the entire day into focus.
She tried to struggle.
One firm hand anchored her thighs, and he turned, moving into a jog. The sound of fighting behind them had her lifting her head to see more men in ski masks battling the two guys from the van. Those two were losing badly. Blood sprayed from the driver's nose, and he went down. Hard.
Then her captor turned a corner and ran through an alley, easily holding her in place.
"Let me go," she gasped, pulling on the restraints holding her hands. Cobblestones flew by below, while cool air brushed across her skin. Rain pattered down, matting her hair to her face. Begging wouldn't work with this guy — she just knew it. What did he want? "Leave me here, and I won't turn you in."
He didn't answer and took two more turns, finally ending up in yet another alley, next to a shiny black motorcycle. Her hair swooshed as he ducked his shoulder and planted her on her feet. Firm hands flipped her around, and something sliced through her bindings.
Blood rushed into her wrists, and she winced at the prickly pain, pivoting back around. "Who are you?" She set her stance to fight.
He reached out and tugged the blindfold completely off her head before ripping off his ski mask.
Adam Dunne stood before her, legs braced, no expression on his hard face. Rain dripped from his thick black hair, and irritation glittered in his spectacular green eyes. That expression seemed to live on him. She knew he was some sort of brilliant strategist, definitely a brainiac, and he always appeared annoyed.
She blinked twice. "Adam?"
He crossed his arms. "It has been nearly impossible to find you."
His deep voice shot right through her to land in very private places. Then the angry tone caught her. She slammed her hands against her hips. He was the very last person in the world she wanted to see right now. "That's my fault? Your stupid people, the witches, kidnapped me."
Witches. Holy crap. Adam Dunne was a witch. Sure, she'd figured that out a week ago, but with him standing right in front of her, she was face-to-face with the reality. The sense of power she'd always imagined in him was real. True power.
The man looked like a badass vigilante and not some brilliant otherworldly being. For this kidnapping, he'd worn a black T-shirt, ripped jeans, and motorcycle boots — definitely not his usual pressed slacks and button-down silk shirt. For once, he appeared just like the criminal she thought he might be.
His sizzling green eyes darkened. "I have about an hour to get you to a plane and out of this country, so you'll be quiet, and you'll follow orders."
She pressed her lips together. No matter how badly she wanted to punch him in the face, she wanted to get out of the country even more. But could she trust him? He was one of the witches. He was probably their leader, and this could be just another part of the whole kidnapping. "Fine."
He lifted an eyebrow. "We're getting on the bike, heading to the airport, and then you're flying to Seattle. You don't know who rescued you, and you haven't seen me in weeks."
She swallowed. Oh, she knew more about him than he could even imagine. For now, she'd play along, especially if it got her out of the country. "How much trouble are you in if we get caught?"
He grabbed a helmet off the bike. "Treason and death sentence."
Right. Like she believed that one. Yet ... she had a part to play. "Thank you."
He shoved the helmet at her. "Don't thank me. Just do what I tell you."
Man, what a jerk. Nearly biting through her tongue to keep from lashing out, she shoved the helmet on her head. If her intel was right, he might be a killer. A cold-blooded, meticulous, dangerous killer. And here she was, alone with him.
He swung a leg over the bike, holding out a hand to help her.
She ignored him and levered herself over the bike and into place, anger flowing through her along with awareness. She didn't know how to fight like he did. Even without dangerous powers, Adam was solid muscle and powerful strength. Could she escape him?
He ignited the engine. It sputtered. He stiffened and tried again.
No, no, no. She closed her eyes to calm her temper and soothe her fears. Being stuck in the alley with Adam was a disaster. Work, bike. Damn it, work. The more she tried to concentrate, the more irritated and breathless she became.
He twisted the throttle again, and this time, nothing.
Why did this always happen to her? What was wrong with her? "It won't work. If it's broken, it won't work." She tugged free of the helmet and shoved herself off the bike. Maybe he'd just leave her alone in the dismal alley. She could get to safety somehow.
He turned toward her. "The bike ran just fine an hour ago."
Her face heated. No way was she telling him about her oddity. She eyed the end of the alley. Could she make it before he stopped her? "I know the sound of an engine that's not coming back to life, and so do you."
He frowned and tried the bike again. No response. "All right." He swung his leg over and stood, studying her. "Are you up to running?"
She blinked. Was that concern in his tone? "Yes. In fact, it'd be better if we separated and ran in different directions."
His lips twitched.
She stared, almost fascinated. Had that been a hint of a smile? While she'd known Adam for months, she'd never seen him smile. "It's a good plan," she asserted, wiping rain off her hands.
"Sweetheart, I haven't spent an entire week scouring the country for you to send you away unprotected." His brogue deepened, and he reached out to tug a wet curl away from her cheek.
Her body short-circuited. From one simple touch. "Why have you been looking for me?" Was he telling the truth?
His pocket buzzed, and he withdrew a cell phone and pushed a button, taking a step back. "Our transport isn't running," he said into the phone, his gaze remaining on her.
"I've downloaded information from the phones on the van you just demolished. The woman has been tagged," came an urgent male voice over the speaker. "There's a tracker planted on her clothes somewhere, and you have about five minutes until the Guard gets there." Keys clacking echoed across the line. "Get rid of the tag and find safety. I'll be in touch with new coordinates as soon as I can." The line went dead.
Adam's expression went hard. He surveyed her head to toe, reaching for her shirt.
She slapped at his hands, adrenaline exploding inside her. "What are you doing?" He radiated menace. "Your clothing has been tagged, and I don't know where. Strip, baby."
Baby? Did he just call her baby? Wait a minute. "Strip?"
"Now." A muscle ticked in his powerful jaw. "Our tags are minute and could be anywhere on you." He dug both big hands through her hair, tugging just enough to flood her with unwelcome tingles. "Not in your hair."
"I am not stripping," she said through clenched teeth, her body doing a full tremble against her will.
He lowered his head until his nose almost touched hers. "Take everything off, or I'll do it for you."
She blinked. Her abdomen clenched. Heat slid through her to land in her core.
He gave a barely perceptible eye roll and turned around, pulling off his T-shirt. "Drop the clothes, and I'll give you my shirt. It'll cover you for the time being." Muscles rippled in his back, moving a jagged tattoo of the symbols CE9 over his left shoulder blade. What did CE9 stand for? The ink was dark and intricate and seemed right at home on him.
Her mouth went dry. Tight-assed Adam Dunne had a tat? Seriously? Who was this guy?
"Now, Victoria. We have to hurry."
"Okay," she whispered, taking a quick look around. Now. It was her only chance to get away from the witches. There had to be an American consulate somewhere. She pivoted to run and made it nearly a foot before his muscled arm snagged her around the waist. She halted mid-stride, and the air whooshed from her lungs. Her eyes bugged out. Whoa. He moved faster than sound.
He hauled her back against his rock-hard bare chest, and his breath brushed her ear. "Don't forget, I gave you a chance." His fingers tangled in the bottom of her shirt.
"No," she yelped, struggling against him, panic hazing her vision.
"Aye," he muttered, easily ripping the wet material over her head. A flick of his finger between her breasts released her bra, and he tugged it away. Rain splashed over her naked skin. His broad chest warmed her bare back.
The gurgle up from her chest held a slight hysterical giggle. Obviously not Adam's first bra. "Damn it, Adam." She kicked back, her heel bouncing off his shin.
He flipped her around to face him, and her hair spun water. "Stop fighting me," he growled.
Her chin dropped as reality splashed in. Red slashed across his angled face, and his eyes burned a fiery green. Danger. For the first time, she would really see the otherworldly predator beneath his smooth veneer. She shivered in the rain, wanting nothing more than to cover her bare chest. But a girl had her pride, and he needed to know he didn't scare her. Her chin lifted this time, and she met his gaze.
Something flickered in those deadly eyes. Admiration? His head cocked ever so slightly to the side, and his nostrils flared. As if accepting her challenge, on his timeline, he slowly let his gaze wander.
Her nipples, the little bastards, hardened instantly just as his heated gaze landed on them.
Tension rolled through the small alley. From him.
She swallowed. "Give me the shirt." A small tremor caught her words.
"The view is too lovely to hide." His gaze lifted. "But as soon as you finish stripping, I will."
Lovely? She clenched her teeth together. Rain and wind whipped into her, and goose bumps rose on her skin. Even so, beneath his gaze, her body warmed. They had to get out of the alley. "Fine. Turn around?"
His lip curved. "I already gave you that chance. Lose the pants and shoes. I'll allow you the count of three."
Her jaw ached, and her temper snapped. "Excuse me?" she said levelly, turning just enough to get a good aim at his balls.
His eyebrow lifted. "I retaliate, Victoria. Don't forget that." There was a sexual undertone to the threat that vibrated through the rain.
Oh, she was out of her depth on way too many fronts right now. Yet nothing in her was about to show vulnerability to this man. Not once. Not ever. "Back off, Adam."
Her entire body stiffened, and she felt like she grew two inches. "Don't even think about it."
"Two." He didn't so much as twitch, and yet, as prey, she could sense he was about to pounce.
Dropping all pretense of talking to him, she twisted and aimed a side kick for his groin with all the strength she could muster.
He caught her ankle, tossed it down, and grabbed her pants with both hands. A quick twist, and they tore down the middle.
She gasped. The material had been good and strong, and he'd destroyed it with his bare hands. "You jerk." She swung and nailed him beneath the right eye. Pain shot through her knuckles to her wrist. What was his damn face made of?
The sound he gave was much more growl than hiss. He tore her panties in two, and they hit the ground. Less than a heartbeat later, he yanked his shirt down to cover her. The soft material fell beneath her thighs and surrounded her with the scent of male.
Her breath panted and she gasped out, already making another fist. Tattoos covered his chest, too!

I enjoyed the book because I love this series. It's in line with the rest of the series and not a stand alone novel. I love appearances of other characters and how they are weaved into the leads love story. I was already and Adam fan and he didn’t disappoint. However Tori was not my cup of tea. She kept saying that is isn’t very bright, and I have to agree. She wasn’t a DEA informant she was being blackmailed. Instead of going to her sister the cop and telling her what was going on she kept doing what the agent said. The problem was the agent had no evidence to back up her blackmail and Tori knew that. Her friend bought a drug, but the agent wasn’t at the buy so how could she prove that? It was hearsay, which could only be corroborated by Tori and the friend. So plead the 5th. The other friend who died from the drug burned up, so there was no body and the guy was a drifter. Her sister’s supposed crime was dating a biker. She was running around following orders that putting herself in incredibly dangerous situations for a woman who basically didn’t have anything on anyone. Also Tori kept running away, but either had nowhere to go or didn’t need to leave for anything important. She was a frustrating character to read. I will definitely be reading the next book and hoping for a better heroine.
The books keep getting better and better. Adam and Tori are a perfect match. He is so hot and she is so spunky! While there is lots of tension in the story, there were some laugh out loud moments.
Wicked Kiss is my first book from the series and I am so glad that I read it because it definitely did not disappoint. Miss Zanetti, you are a great author, I love your work. A great written book, with even greater character, complex, well developed with great personalities. I loved the funny side of Tori and animal side of Adam their chemistry hot. Plot great and unpredictable. Can't wait for another one. Recommended. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly
Three and a half stars, maybe four stars. The fault is with me, I don't like BDSM/ submission and Adam teetered too far into that, not FSoG territory but even a little is too far for me. So in the last book Lexi's younger sister Tori had been kidnapped with Bear by the Witches and discovered there was a whole wld of the paranormal out there, then she is rescued by big bad Adam Dunne. She's working as an informant for the DEA trying to find out who in the Grizzlies MC is distributing the lethal new drug Apollo. Adam is also looking for the distributor and manufacturer of Apollo, he is undercover with the Titans of Fire as well as being the lone Dunne Enforcer for the witch nation since his brothers and cousins have been charged with treason. But can Adam and Tori work together and will they find their man before the ruling council of witches either executes Tori for knowing they exist or declares Adam a traitor? I wanted more plot and less of Adam withholding sex to force Tori to say he owned her, but that's just me. I know this is standard PNR alpha male behaviour, others will love it. Adam does have some super sexy powers though ;). I want grumpy Bear's story next, pretty please? And if so I think I have a pretty good idea who his mate will be, just sayin'. I received a free copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in return for an honest review.
A great addition to the series. Tori finally got her story!
This is an action packed paranormal romantic suspense by a highly talented author. The witches are being attacked by the deadly-to-witches Apollo drug. As more witches die from its use, they and others are endeavouring to find just who is making and distributing it, striving to end its use. It is also a humorous story, with laugh out loud moments, too! Victoria Monzelle is a secret DEA informant with a really quirky power - she stops electronic devices working, even when she doesn’t want to! Just imagine driving along then the engine stops and won’t restart . . . or making a phone call and your mobile burns up! You get the idea. Well Tori just can’t control this and, as you can imagine, it causes her no end of problems! She’s a strong, feisty, independent young lady who really doesn’t take well to being kidnapped by the witch council. . . . and she really doesn’t trust Adam Dunne who turns up claiming to be a witch enforcer. However, he’s the only one standing between her and execution by the witch council. Adam recognises her as his mate but she’s not so sure and thinks he’s pitying her. Get ready for sparks to fly and machines to stop working in this enticing, enjoyable paranormal adventure! I can’t wait to read Bear’s story in the next book in this series, Wicked Bite, which I believe concludes the series! I requested and was given a copy of this book via NetGalley and this is my honest opinion after choosing to read it.
While I loved this installment of the Realm Enforcers series, it was my least favorite up to date. When Adam is forced to stand up for Victoria at a council meeting, he must vow to mate her. I was ready to see where this was all going to lead but much of the first part of the book is each of them going their own way. That was all interesting but let’s be honest, I wanted to see them together working to solve the mystery of who was supplying the Apollo drug in Seattle. There is plenty of action and I loved seeing Victoria evolve as she learned about her own unique gift. I especially liked the she had grown strong enough to say what she wanted at the time it was most important to do so. I’m excited for Bear’s story next but saddened that it appears to be the last in the series. Dual POV Safe No apparent triggers
These books are excellent!! Good stories lots of heat!
I really enjoyed this story! The author does an excellent job with the characters and settings involved in the world building, and it’s fairly well established by now having been part of two series. But even for a newcomer to the books, it’s easy to find your place. While several characters do make appearances in this book, they are not all introduced at once and they play important roles in the continuing story arc. The romance between Adam and Victoria is a fun and sexy affair. Victoria is a spirited woman with a tender heart. She doesn’t back down from Adam in the least, even when he’s adamant that she listen to him for her protection. The sparks that fly between them are not just figurative – they have a very explosive chemistry that ignites when they touch, and Adam isn’t above using his witch powers to enhance their sexual encounters. Adam is a typical alpha male, but he respects the powers Victoria has too and encourages her to learn how to control them. She’s a worthy mate for Adam even if she sometimes believes she is no real match for a powerful handsome man like him. Her self-esteem and belief in herself improves over the course of the story and by the end, she’s confident in her ability to be a worthy partner for Adam. Besides the steamy romance, there is plenty of action that moves the plot along at a swift pace. The Coven Nine that heads the witch’s realm is severely fractured and Adam has some difficult choices to make that test his loyalty. The story arc for this book concludes in an exciting and satisfying way, and there are some great hints as to what is to come. Wicked Kiss is a sexy, exciting, paranormal romance and will delight new and established fans alike.
WICKED KISS is the fourth installment in Rebecca Zanetti’s contemporary, adult REALM ENFORCERS paranormal, romance series-a spin off from her Dark Protectors series. This is witch enforcer Adam Dunne, and DEA informant Victoria Monzelle’s story line. WICKED KISS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from previous story lines is revealed where necessary. Several characters cross over for cohesion and familiarity. Told from several third person points of view including Adam and Victoria WICKED KISS follows Victoria Monzelle as she finds herself on the run from the group known as the Coven Nine ruling council of witches because of her ‘awareness’ of their existence. Enter Adam Dunne, witch enforcer, Victoria’s sister Alexandra’s mate Kellach’s brother, and the man with whom Victoria will fall in love. What ensues are Adam and Victoria’s struggle to stay one step ahead of the people trying to destroy their lives, and Victoria’s reluctance to accept Adam as her potential mate. Something isn’t right with the ruling council, and Adam and Victoria have been targeted by the man in charge. Threats against both of their lives results in Adam going rogue in the hopes of discovering the truth. A time line has been enforced by the Council for Adam to take control but Victoria is more concerned with an issue back home. The relationship between Adam and Victoria is one of immediate attraction but Victoria has other plans. Adam knows that to save Victoria from the witch’s council, a mating will be enforced but a mating that Victoria is reluctant to undertake. Victoria’s need to protect someone back home finds our heroine taking too many risks that result in her one too many threats against her life. The $ex scenes are intimate and intense. There is some definite palpable sexual energy between our leading couple. There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Alexandra and Kellach (Wicked Ride #1), Cee Cee and Daire (Wicked Edge #2), shifter Bear Brightson, and his sister Simone (Wicked Burn #3), as well as several members of the Grizzly MC, the Titans of Fire Enforcers, and the ruling council of witches. The requisite evil has many faces-both familiar and close. The world building continues to focus on the take down of the people who are making and distributing the designer drug Apollo. As the ruling council continues to target one of their own, they get some help from an outside source. Adam and Victoria’s attraction to one another began in book one, and the consummation of their relationship is a hard-fought battle until the very end. WICKED KISS is an action packed, fast paced, entertaining and revealing story line. The premise is intelligent, thrilling and edgy; the romance is sexy and provocative; the characters are colorful, dynamic and spirited. Rebecca Zanetti’s REALM ENFORCERS is a passionate look at the supernatural, enticing characters and provocative romance.
Wicked Kiss by Rebecca Zanetti is as sexy and explosive as I know it would be. Extremely fun, action packed, smoking hot and completely engrossing. Tori, Adam and all the usual suspects we’ve come to love Control your attention from start to finish. After being recruited by the DEA to help find the makers and distributors of the deadly Apollo drug, Victoria Monzelle’s world is turned upside-down when she finds out the world is a much bigger place following her kidnapping by the witch council. To avoid an unjust death sentence and buy some time, cold strategist and protector of the Coven Nine, Adam Dunne volunteers to mate her forever. Tori doesn’t like being ordered around though, and she’s not about to trust a man who’s been hiding his colored fire abilities, no matter how attractive he is or how dangerous it is to be pursued by witches. Can Adam protect her from his world’s inner turmoil? They couldn’t be more different. She’s wild and carefree. He walks the straight and narrow and is ruled by duty. They literally come from different worlds, but when these two are in the vicinity sparks fly. Adam loses his control and feels alive around the fragile yet brave Tori. And Tori feels safe around him even when she’s never been able to trust anyone but her sister. They complement each other in the best ways and I loved watching their relationship turn from lust-hate to lust-love and oh boy was it lustful and passionate!! Fans of the Real Enforcers and Dark Protectors series will enjoy every moment of this skillfully written novel. Witches, shifters, demons and vampires we’ve grown to love mix in with the main characters and overall series arc to make this a fun and exciting page turner. Wicked Kiss is book #4 in the Real Enforcers series by Rebecca Zanetti. It is a standalone, paranormal romance. It’s action packed and deliciously sexy. Told from two points of view with a happy ending.
4.5* I just have to say I LOVE Rebecca Zanetti! Her writing just keeps getting better and better. I had a hard time putting it down but as always life gets in the way of my reading. *sigh* Victoria "Tori" Monzelle and Alex Dunne are a perfect match the chemistry between them is off the charts and their whity banter made me laugh out loud. Tori has been somewhat adrift her whole life. She plagued by her odd effect on any type of machinery. At the moment she's being blackmailed by the DEA to keep her friend and sister outside of jail and find who's dealing the deadly drug Apollo. Alex Dunne is her first suspect but she can't get past her feeling that he's more then he seems but not someone who would sell drugs. Alex rescues Tori after she's kidnapped her odd effect on engines keeps him from getting her out of Dublin. Hiding her out should be fine if only the little hellion would obey and stay where she's told. He's told by The Council of Nine that he must mate Tori or she dies now that she knows witches are real. He will not force a mating He's to roughnfor the likes of a fragile human even if she all he can think of. Tori knows Alex is way out of her league, to rich to gorgeous and to damn controlling. With everything working against them can they see what's meant to be or will they both end up losing their heads.
Being a huge Rebecca Zanetti fan I couldn't wait to read the latest installment in her Realm Enforcers series, Wicked Kiss. Adam Dunne is a an witch and is also an enforcer for the Coven 9. Adam has been undercover as part of a motorcycle club, in an effort to find the source of a new drug which can kill humans and is detrimental to witches. Victoria Monzelle is outspoken and a little on the wild side, with her purple streaked hair and fearless attitude. She and the Irish witch couldn't be more different and let's just say they prove the theory that opposites attract and then some. Victoria has unfortunately found herself on the radar of the police - the human ones. When circumstances surrounding the investigation force these two together, things get really heated both emotionally and physically, resulting in the Coven ordering Tori's demise and Adam vowing to make her his mate in order to safe her life. The hot witch is a force to be reckoned with, and this little human woman tests everthing within him, giving him a run for his money. In true Rebecca Zanetti style, Wicked Kiss is filled with suspense, action, danger, romance and all the hot supernatural beings that fans of this and her Dark Protectors series have come to know and love. Wicked Kiss is a wonderful addition to the Realm Enforcers series and I thoroughly enjoyed it, and can't wait to delve into the next book. Definitely check this one out.
Rebecca Zanetti's, Realm Enforcer book 4, Wicked Kiss is totally explosive. This non stop action pack, twist turning sexually heated book is one once you start reading you don't want to put down. Tori has been kidnapped by Witches because she has recently found out they as well as demons and vampires live in this world that she lives. The withes can't have their identity known and sentence her to death. Adam is the last Realm Enforcer brother who works for the Coven nine council. A council which is slowly falling apart. He needs to protect his family, who are in hiding, thanks to some drummed up charges. Stop the drug Apollo from hitting the streets and from killing both humans and witches. And now he feels the need to protect Tori, his sister in law, as well. Adam tries to buy time by agreeing to mate Tori in exchange for her life, which does not sit well with Tori. Together they try to beat the Coven Nine at their own game while going directly against his beliefs. He refuses to mate because he is forced into it and she feels the same. Too bad the chemistry between them is so explosive they can't deny fate. This is a fast paced paranormal book that once you read it you want to go back and re-read it all over again hoping you didn't miss anything. I so can't wait for the next book to come out in this awesome series.
Review: WICKED KISS (Realm Enforcers) by Rebecca Zanetti Publication Date: July 4, 2017 Genre: Paranormal Romance Reviewed by: Reading in Pajamas/ Cori Rated 5 Stars I love this series and was so excited to get my hands in Adam's book. Adam is my favorite Dunne brother! I just love him! WICKED KISS is the fourth book in Rebecca Zanetti's Realm Enforcers series. The series is a paranormal series with witches, shifters, vampires and demons and focuses on the Dunne family of witches. The Realm Enforcers series is a spinoff series from the Dark Protectors series that focused on the vampires in the same paranormal world. You don't need to read the Dark Protectors series before picking up this series, but I highly recommend both series. I love them and the Dark Protectors series would make a great binge read. I recommend reading each series in order, but each book can be read as a standalone. WICKED KISS was action packed, full of danger and smoking hot romance. It kept me riveted and I couldn't put it down. I was already in love with Adam before picking up this book and fell even more in love with him while reading his story. Victoria was just perfect for him! Their banter was fun and the romance was hot. Rebecca Zanetti is one of my favorite authors because she's a great storyteller that always delivers an exciting love story. I highly recommend anything she writes and I loved WICKED KISS! *Review copy provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Wicked Kiss by Rebecca Zanetti Realm Enforcers #4 Adam Dunne is an enforcer for the Coven 9 witches living in the Realm of supernatural creatures. At the beginning of the book he saves Victoria “Tori” Monzelle while she is being moved from one site to another after being held post kidnapping for about a week. The two have chemistry aplenty but with a wide age gap, differences in their natures and little in common neither seems to think there is mating in their future. With the potential of losing their heads a mating is promised, though. Before that can happen feisty Tori and stoic Adam have to find terms to agree upon and evade, escape, fight, run and deal with a whole lot of issues before the end of the book. I believe that reading the previous books in this series will enhance the reading of this one by filling in the blanks of who the characters are, what they are and all the interconnecting dots between them all. I did enjoy this book but perhaps not quite as much as some of the previous ones. I felt there were a few too many kidnappings and perhaps they were fallen back on with ease because Tori managed to put herself out there in places that made it so easy to kidnap her. I am looking forward to reading the next book, Wicked Bite, the story of Bear and Nessa ;) Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Publishing-Lyrical Press for the copy. This is my honest review. 3-4 Stars
Attention starter with Victoria Monzelle kidnapped and being held in a van! Hero Adam Dunne to the rescue. Paranormal elements adds to the action and character uniqueness. Victoria being in the wrong place at the wrong time has witnessed elements of a magical world best kept from the public at large. Zanetti is a master at weaving paranormal stories. Dunne works to keep Victoria safe and win her heart. Amazing characters and action! "A copy of this book was provided to me by Kensington and author via Netgalley with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read and my comments here are my honest opinion,"
Wicked Kiss by Rebecca Zanetti may be the fourth book in the Realm Enforcers series but I easily read it as a stand alone. I can always count on Ms. Zanetti to develop a fast paced plot, well-defined characters that a reader can become attached to and a story that engages you from the first page. From page one the story grabbed me and I couldn't put it down. Tori and Adam played perfectly off each other and it was interesting to see their relationship develop as they both worked together to save Tori's life. Suspense, paranormals and hot romance makes this a mesmerizing read. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book from Kensington via NetGalley. All of the above opinions are my own.
What can I say about this book? As always Rebecca Zanetti delivers when she writes a book! I have been looking forward to Adam's story since he was introduced in her books and she didn't fail to deliver! Adam and Victoria are dynamite together and I love how she pushes him to try to get him to give all of himself. She never backs down and is always there for the people she loves. Adam, Adam, Adam. Pheww he is so beyond my expectations in this book and he blew me away! He is dominant and yet loving. He risks everything for not only his family but a woman he doesn't even know that well. I loved every minute of this book and I definitely loved how it ended! Exactly as it should! Another great book by Ms. Zanetti that you don't want to miss! And after the teaser at the end? I can't wait for Bear's book, especially as he is another character I really love!
Adam & Victoria's Story: We've gotten hints to Adam and Tori's attraction to each other since book 1, but Adam has his mind set on finding a non-human mate. He knows how vulnerable having a human mate would be and thinks he has a choice, silly man. One of the best things about this series is watching these tough men and their preconceived notions on what kind of mate they want and find that they have fallen for exactly the opposite. It has been very entertaining to see these strong spirited women bring them to their knees every time. This has been such a fun series and I already can't wait for the next one. This is a fast paced PNR series that can all be read as standalone books or they can be read in order and watch all the characters evolve with each new story. The men are dominant and very protective. The women are sassy and bold. Their enemies are ruthless and persistent. You won't be bored. ARC Provided by NetGalley.
Rebecca Zanetti does it again! She remains one of my favorite paranormal authors! I love this series and this is a phenomenal addition to the Realm Enforcers. I was so looking forward to Adam and Tori's story and it was 100% everything I hoped it would be and more. This is an uber-fun, edge of your seat, fast paced adventure that packs just the right amount of romance and sexy times into the story. The story flows perfectly and is so well written you may even find yourself actually believing in the unbelievable. Adam & Tori are simply smokin' hot together and the chemistry between them just sizzles, even if she doesn't want to want this sexy as sin dangerous alpha witch at first. Adam vows to the council to mate Tori to save her life but she is having none of that. I love that it was well into the story when they really get to know each other and are truly in love before they finally do mate. They make such a great couple!! I love Tori! She is funny, brave, sassy, feisty and has her own mind. She also finds out that what she thinks is a disastrous power, is actually pretty badass when Adam helps her fine tune how to use it and when. I love that he does this for her instead of thinking she can't possibly help and be an asset to him. Adam is a gorgeous uber-alpha, sexy witch with a sexy Irish brogue who has some pretty cool powers himself. They only serve to make him even more attractive. He is a dominant alpha in the bedroom and out and can kick some serious no mercy butt as we see especially when Tori is threatened. He can also be very sweet and rather funny too, just don't tell his enemies that. Tori also knows just how to push Adam to the edge of his control and I love that she can do that to him. He tries to put up a proper front, but with her he becomes anything but. Love the cameos by other characters from the series and love that Bear's story is next up! Fantastic story jam packed with everything you expect from a Rebecca Zanetti book!! 5 fireballs!!
Adam Dunne and his brothers are enforcers for the Circle of Nine, but his brothers have recently been declared treasonous to their realm. The Witch realm. As the remaining enforcer of a tribunal that has an evil witch leading it, Adam is under a lot of pressure to help his family overcome these charges. Although Adam looks like a lawyer, he is a witch and he is on the hunt to save Victoria Monzelle, his sister in laws sister from his own tribunal who wants to kill her. This only adds to his responsibilities. Victoria is a rebel with purple tipped hair, but when she finds out that these other realms exist her very existence is in jeopardy. You see, humans aren’t supposed to know about them. Adam seems like a good guy, but she has trust issues. You would too if your father was a convicted drug mobster. However, there’s this spark between she and Adam that she can’t deny and doesn’t really want to resist. This book starts off with a bang and never stops. I love the Realm Enforcer series as it’s a spinoff from the Dark Protectors series and some of my favorite characters pop up in this book. Literally, in one case. Dage, the King of the Vampires helps Adam out a lot in this book. Enough that I’m remembering how fun his story was and want to go back and read it. If you are also a fan of Rebecca Zanetti’s style, you will get your fix of Alpha male falls for sassy girl in Wicked Kiss and find yourself smiling as you read. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I was given an ARC of this book through NetGalley for an honest review, and it was honest.
This is a terrific continuation of the Dark Protectors series (and while it is related and some characters carry over, this series can stand alone). Love the characters and the world created by Rebecca Zanetti!
