Personal tragedies among the bandmembers' loved ones and a menacing year punctuated by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita sparked an emotional, lighter rock sound on Wherever You Are. The message was that of God's concern for His children in all conditions. Mac Powell and crew musically stretched out their arms to the masses and offered a sanctuary from loss, despair, and hopelessness. It was a sincere gesture. A few uptempo tracks permeated the album, including the syncopated "I Can Feel It" and the cry against unrighteous judgment in "How Do You Know." Fans grabbed up the album, making it a Top Ten hit.

If you want an album that continues the tradition of uplifting while getting you thinking, this is it.
I just heard about this release on CNN as the band had done two benefit concerts for Hurricane Relief and was shocked to learn they had a new album coming out. Had not heard a peep about it. I have been a fan of this band ever since their first album and could not be happier of their efforts to provide relief in God's name with their talent. They continue to inspire me, educate me, and force me to sing in my truck as loud as I can with their infectious sound. You can never have enough of Third Day in my humble opinion. I will be stopping on the way home to grab this because I don't wanna wait for it to arrive by mail!
My brother Bobby was dying when Cry Out to Jesus starting playing on the radio. I would just break down and weep every time I heard that song. Of couse I had to rush out and buy it. I am buying it again because I bought it to my daughters house and they can't find it. Well worth the money and the time to listen to these wonderful songs.
At first I was skeptical to buy this CD, but I had heard "Cry out to Jesus" on the radio and I really liked it. I wasn't dissapointed for a minute-it's worth the price just for "carry my cross". I love it and i listen to it every chance I get. The songs are filled with hope and the spirit of God-YOU"LL LOVE IT!
Third Day performed "Communion" at Six Flags in Arlington, TX, back in July. What an amazing show! I'd never wept at a concert before until I heard this song. This cd is worth the price just for "Communion", a truly powerful song.
