What people are saying about Kelly Rimmer:
'I fell in love with this amazing book after the first sentence and would read it all over again. A wonderful mixture of emotions, real love, secrets, laughter and sadness.' Sky's Book Corner
'I was hooked right from the start, and it was just the most beautiful portrayal of falling in love I've ever read. It's the type of love you dream of and want for yourself... Kelly Rimmer has done an outstanding job with Me Without You, it's engaging, it warmed my heart to the very core, and then tore it out and stomped all over it. ... an unforgettable tale that I couldn't recommend more.' 5/5 GirlsLovetoRead.com
'It's been a while since I've read a book that made me 'ugly cry.' You know what I mean... big, fat tears rolling down your cheeks leaving you with eyes so puffy you look like you've had an allergic reaction. Think Claire Danes in... well... pretty much any role she's ever been in. Kelly Rimmer's Me Without You certainly broke that dry spell... a heartbreaker of a book that has great characters and a gut-wrenching ending that left me feeling a weird mix of bereft and yet hopeful.' 'There's not much I can say without giving the story away, other than how much I adore Callum and Lilah. Their love story is so genuine and heartfelt... This book is beautifully written, and I found myself highlighting like crazy throughout. I highly recommend this book, but I must warn you, it's one that will make you cry.' Mrs Leif's Blog

This is an audiobook review. "Do You Believe in Love, 1st or 2nd Time Around?" If you could sum up When I Lost You in three words, what would they be? Tragedy, Secrets, Love. What was one of the most memorable moments of When I Lost You? I don't want to give any spoilers but the moment they are in the apartment and Leo uses all his strength to prove to Molly that he is the man she loves, her expression tells him all he needs to know and her reasoning is heartbreaking .. to her she thinks it means he will be able to walk away again. Which scene did you most enjoy? The innocence at the start of their 'relationship', they meet to talk about Duncan, Molly's brother and Leo's friend. He is dead and Molly wants details but during this you get a sense of the intense chemistry building between the two characters. I loved the fact Leo thinks she is beautiful but out of his reach. Two sides of the great wealth divide. If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be? Marriage in Crisis .. Any additional comments? This is a wonderful story focusing on Molly and Leo, it is taken from both POV's and set in two time periods. Leo is severely injured in a car crash while working away as a correspondent out in the 'field'. Molly rushes to his bedside, but Leo has lost his memory and ability to walk. Set in Australia, these two are poles apart she is the daughter of rich parents, he has roots in the black community but their love sparkles. While Leo recovers Molly remains by him but is hiding a huge secret, as his memories return will their relationship survive? I found Leo fairly arrogant and he didn't respect Molly. How she tolerated some of his outbursts I don't know. This book covers so many emotions and had my heart beating quickly or standing still on quite a few occasions. I found it perfect as an audio book because I could immerse myself in the story and really feel a part of it. Thanks so much to Kim at Bookouture for my audiobook in return for my honest opinion.
