What goes on tour, stays on tour … or does it?

Few people know that socially awkward Adrian Hart is actually rock God, Kent Downer, and that's the way Adrian likes it. His privacy is essential, especially now that he has guardianship of his orphaned, ten-year-old niece, Kate. But when the nanny quits in the middle of his Australian tour Adrian finds himself in a bind.

Until Libby Myles walks into his life.

Libby has only ever wanted to become a full-time author and prove to her parents that she can make it on her own. On the surface, the temporary job as the nanny for Kent Downer's niece looks perfect—the pay is fabulous, the hours are short and Kate is a big fan—it's the rock star that's the issue.

Arrogant and way too attractive for anyone's good, Kent Downer has enough swagger to power a small city. But when he's out of costume he's different—shy and uncertain. For Libby it's a far harder combination to resist. She needs to find a balance between work, writing and ignoring her attraction to the rock star, because if she falls for him, it could mean the end of her dream.

But when a horrible scandal is unleashed—putting young Kate in danger—there's more heat between Libby and Adrian than just sexual attraction. Libby must figure out if Adrian ever cared for her, or if it was all just part of the show …

This was an interesting read for me. Both characters had things from their pasts they had to deal with in order to move on to their future. I enjoyed how the author brought in all of the new developments, she did not rush anything so it made the story flow together perfectly. It brings up a couple of tough subjects (i.e. facing ones fears (no matter how minor they may seem to others they are real to that person) attempted suicide, death and the effects from losing loved ones, abusice parents, alcoholism, etc) all things that happen in every day real life. There was just enough action from the rock star life style to keep it interesting and from the authors life style as well. Would recommend reading for a nice, clean romance .

This was a very enjoyable read that left me with a happy feeling. Boston's writing is captivating so be prepared to finish the book in one sitting. The characters are likeable and well developed. The plot is interesting. The characters deal with real life issues such as custody battles, media lies, crippling phobias, child abuse, and poverty. These characters respond in appropriate ways to all of these situations. It was interesting to read about a bright child, a sensitive rock star, and a struggling writer. I highly recommend.

Overall Rating:  4 Rockin’ Stars Libby is a hopeful author that has several books under her belt and a beginning following.  As a new author she still has to work to support herself until she reaches the point that her books will allow her to stop her other jobs.  She is finishing up a book tour with an appearance on a talk show.  Her interview goes really well so when Kent Downer a rock star from Texas comes on stage to do his interview she thinks that everything is finished.  However the lights go out and she finds out that Mr. Rock n Roll is afraid of the dark and the only thing that keeps him from losing it is her.  She grounds him and helps him make it until the lights are back on.  Libby thinks it’s odd that he doesn’t thank her but she doesn't think she will ever see him again.   Kent Downer has an alter ego, Adrian Hart and they are opposites in every way.  When Kent washes away his stage make-up he becomes a shy, caring man that is raising his orphaned niece.  When he gets back after the interview and tells his niece that he meet Libby she goes ballistic because Libby is her favorite author.  Uncle Adrian wants to make his niece happy and takes her the next day to Libby’s final book signing.  Adrian is need of a nanny because the one he had hired to watch his niece Kate quit. The nanny had been more interested in taking care of him than doing her job taking care of her charge.  Kate and Libby hit it off so well that Libby agreed to take the job as nanny for the month that they were in Australia.  Everything is going great until Adrian and Libby can’t deny the attraction they feel for one another.   Libby’s own family treats her like a stepchild and she cannot turn to them for support let alone ask for their love.  She wants to be there for Kate and also to help Adrian.  The ex-nanny is out for revenge and starts her campaign against Adrian.  The first thing she does is disclose Adrian is really Kent.  Then she accuses Adrian of firing her and dumping her for Libby.  Everything goes viral and innuendos fly all over the media.  Will Adrian and Libby find each other or will they just be a short affair?  Can Adrian keep his niece safe from reporters?  Hero: Kent Downer 4 stars Heroine: Libby Myles 4 stars Plot:  4 stars Steam Level 4 stars Would I recommend this book: Yes! This is book was different from the start!  It included a rock star that had a dual identity like Superman and Clark Kent only add some heavy baggage from the past!  Enters a sexy novelist that agrees to work for him and take care of his niece as her nanny you have a great read! Especially when the ex-nanny goes off the deep end! Would I recommend this author:  Yes!  This author is defiantly one that I would read again. ***Received an ARC of this book from the Publisher in exchange for an honest review***
