20 pop songs recorded in Italian, or at least in English with heavily Italian-oriented themes, for RCA in the 1950s and 1960s. This is Italian (or Italo-American) pop at its most middle-of-the-road and sentimental, which could serve as either a recommendation or a warning. Includes selections by Lou Monte, Perry Como, Sergio Franchi, Domenico Modugno (the massive hit "Volare"), and even a number by Sophia Loren, among others.

When my grandmother was sick and dying of cancer I played this CD for her over and over. She loved every song.It made her smile as she sang along. This CD made an old woman happy.I buried the CD with her she liked it so much. Now I will by it for myself and think of her and the times we had.Thank-You
