To keep it brief, this story follows the main character, Eddie Brock, through out his life from childhood to adulthood and gives a much more detailed view on the subtle nuances that drive his psyche. A great read if you like Spider-Man and an amazing read if you're a fan of Venom.

The background story is interesting, and the art is good. I especially thought Eddie Brock's character was well conceived. I loved the line he says: "Reporters get to make the truth." However, The sonic gun in the building appears out of nowhere and makes no sense. The story telling gets a little sloppy at the end, but I'm sure Venom fans will want it for their collection.
