This book was a great read to me. This family reminds me of a family that I longed for when I was growing up. The family is very large, but also very close. Cleo Small, her parents and her 5 brothers and sisters are hilarious to read about. Every task turns into a huge project. A plane ride, a car ride, a hike up into the mountains, you name it. With six children I couldn't imagine it being any different. I love reading cute stories with happy endings that will allow me to dream about the funny stories I will soon be telling about my children. Underpants on my head is also the perfect title for the book. This family uses what they have in the times of need. Underpants act as boggins when they are caught in a snow storm in the middle of August. It could've turned into a horrible situation without any humor, but the Small family wouldn't allow that to happen. I would definitely recommend this book to children ages 7-9.
