Sir Richard Trevithick Tangye (1833–1906) was a British manufacturer of industrial machinery. He was a noted collector of Oliver Cromwell memorabilia, including letters, manuscripts, paintings and even personal items such as Cromwell’s bible and death mask. He is the author of The Rise of a Great Industry and Reminiscences of Travel in Australia.
