SinnerThree: Hey, nothing wrong with pushing your boundaries...

LobsterShorts: Tell that to my control-freak father. Anyway. What if this threesome is awkward?

Omg this is a 5 Star Plus Read and it’s certainly going to be on my best reads of 2019 !!! Keaton is the typical rich handsome jock who is expected to follow in his dad’s footsteps but his heart is not in it and his passion is elsewhere, up and till now he has done what was expected played football and dated a girl that his parents would want him to be with. Keaton is looking for the perfect birthday gift for his girlfriend so when she requests a threesome he jumps online to investigate a possible male match for the two of them. Enter Luke who is the complete opposite of Keaton, he is on an academic scholarship and works as a stripper by night to put food on the table and this is when the fun really begins, what starts off as innocent texting soon turns in sexting and every text is full of witty flirty banter and it’s long into it that these two realise there might be more than just a threesome on the table, maybe the girlfriend isn’t needed in this relationship........ This book captivated it took over and I couldn’t put it down until I had read the final page, I needed to know if these two got past the sexting, if family and friends would accept the love they shared and if they finally get the HEA they deserved. This book has it all, it will make you laugh, it will make you swoon and at times you will be gasping out loud. Top Secret is a MM love story and it has the perfect mix of love, passion, humour and angst. Another great read from from two very talented authors

I must say when Sarina and elle team up together to write M/M books, I get tickles all over!! like HIM and US I really enjoyed this book especially Luke character, I totally understand where he coming from and he need to push Keaton away, but at the end I'm glad it was resolved and all ends well. would love to read a follow-up for after graduating and Luke stepping up the business ladder. will Luke dead beat mom come back around and the no good for nothing loser bother harass him not that he's successful?? will Keaton and Luke love and sexual flame burn strong throughout they're ambition and goals? ? please ladies give us a follow-up .

Not going to lie, this book started out slow for me. I don’t know if it was my state of mind, because I liked Keaton and Luke. Or maybe that it has a pretty big build up and story, which I liked, to get our characters ‘together’. The story didn’t drag, but I seriously thought about setting it aside for now, not shelve it forever, but to pick it up in a bit. I gave it one more try, as I was in about 36% in, and the rest was history. Stayed up all night reading, couldn’t set it down, grabbed the bonus epilogue, and now have Sam Smith playing on a continuous loop in my head, happiness! Luke and Keaton, oh what to say, they were perfect for each other. Complete opposites in their upbringing and lives, but needing the other so much to make them happy, whole, and complete Between Keaton’s desire to make everyone happy, his thirst for scientific knowledge, and his tenacity in pursuing his wants, he was irresistible. Luke with his brooding, life scars, and survival instinct, made you want to wrap him up. Lucky for us, Keaton comes through, and Luke wakes up, but they took us on quite the journey to get there Now, about Annika…….

Steamy, sultry, and laugh-out-loud funny! Top Secret is a charmingly spicy, enemies-to-more romance featuring the fun-loving, jock Keaton who’s decided to make all his girlfriend’s birthday wishes come true, and the sexy, secretive Luke who may just be the perfect man for the job. The characters are witty, adventurous, and amusing. The writing is bold, whimsical and uses a delightful mixture of snappy dialogue, text messages, and narration. And the plot is a delicious blend of tension, humour, sexual innuendoes, sizzling chemistry, flirty banter, familial drama, friendship, competition, tricky situations, awkward moments, and college life. Overall, Top Secret is another humorous, provocative, tantalizing novel by Bowen and Kennedy that once again proves that when these two brilliant authors get together, the end result is always dynamite.

This was simply a wonderful romance! I pretty new to Sarina Bowen's writing and very new to Elle Kennedy's but they have both totally won me over. I was really excited to start reading this book and actually had to read just a bit as soon as it became available. I rarely start reading books right away so that really says a lot about my eagerness to read this book. This book was everything that I had hoped it would be and I had a fantastic time reading it. I don't read a lot of MM romance and I am starting to wonder why that is the case because this book worked so well for me. I thought that the set up for this story was very well done. Keaton was trying to give his girlfriend exactly what she wanted for her birthday and he ended up with so much more. I had a pretty good idea where things would end up going but I had no idea how anything would happen. I liked Keaton and Luke from the start of this book. I think that the fact that they have no idea who it is that they are talking to worked very well. The fact that they lived across the hall from each other was perfect. It was great being in Keaton's head while he tried to figure out what it is that he really wanted. Luke was pretty confident in some areas of his life but he did not want to depend on anyone for anything. Luke and Keaton really made a wonderful couple. The chemistry that the shared was off the charts whether they were texting or face to face. I loved the way they both seemed to come alive when they were together. I felt like their true selves really came out during the scenes where they were together and let the rest of the world just go away. These two were seriously hot together. I would recommend this book to others. This was a book that hooked me at the very beginning and held me until the very end. I loved going on this journey with Keaton and Luke and can't wait to read more from this talented writing pair. I received a digital review copy of this book from the author/publicist.

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that when Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy join their wands, the most amazing and otherworldly magic happens. They are extraordinary apart, but together? They are unbelievable. Top Secret is their most recent collaboration, and let me tell you, it is to die for. After waiting for what seemed like forever, they’re back! And what a comeback it is! I sure hope they write together again, because there’s just nothing like it. Nothing. I loved Top Secret. It is flawlessly written, the story flows naturally, and the characters are very well developed. Luke Bailey and Keaton Hayworth III couldn’t be more different. They are not only from very different backgrounds, but their personalities are just not compatible. Two frat brothers with nothing in common but a very intense dislike for each other. One could even call it hatred. That is, until they meet online. Top Secret is everything you want in a romance novel. First of all, it is very well written, no secrets there. It is certainly hilarious, but not only because of the funny situations in the story, but because of the way it’s told. It’s in the words. It’s a pleasure to read their words. Luke and Keaton are both adorable in their own way, and both their stories have depth. They face situations and have issues that any person could relate to, or understand without a stretch. And last but not least, Top Secret is hot. I mean, the heat level is scorching. And also hilarious, you’ll know what I mean when you read all the animal kingdom sex references. (You may want to look those flatworms up on you tube, just saying.) Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy write amazing M/M romance, and Top Secret is certainly another winner.

Loved this book start to finish. Sexy but so much deeper than just sex!

Luke Bailey has won a scholarship to Darby College, he's a local but his family is toxic so he rushed Alpha Delta fraternity in order to get housing. He's working two jobs (bar and stripper) just to afford the rent on the smallest room in the frat house and living off cheese sandwiches. He's got a plan, the President gets free board at the frat house so he's going to stand for President against preppy, entitled jock Keaton Hayward. Keaton Hayward III is third generation Apha Delta, his father (the CEO of a bif pharmaceutical company) and grandfather were both Presidents of the fraternity and he is aiming to do the same. When his sweet, but vanilla high school girlfriend says she wants a three-way for her twenty-first birthday present Keaton is surprised but happy to go along. He signs them up (anonymously) to a hook-up site called Kink and starts vetting potential matches for his gf's big surprise. When Keaton and Luke start messaging on the app as LobsterShorts and SinnerThree things start off business-like with Luke testing whether Keaton is really happy with the ramifications of his gf's choices, but soon Keaton is sharing his geeky facts about mating in the animal kingdom and the two of them are developing a relationship. What can I say, two of my favourite authors. I've noticed a theme in their college novels which tend to start off really raunchy and factor 100 on the phoar scale but become sweeter as the characters develop their relationship. This is definitely a rich-guy/poor-guy romance, it's about reaching for what you really want and standing up for yourself and what's right. It's 100% Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy sweet, sexy, articulate, romantic, funny love conquers all. Wonderful.

4.5 stars- I was completely stoked when I first learned of this secretive project between two authors I really enjoy and whose previous books were among the first that drew me to the m/m genre. As such, I was more than happy to go into the story blond. Top Secret ended up being amazing and such a wonderful surprise treat- delivering vibrant characters, a good enemies to lovers romance, and fantastic dialogue that kept me hooked to my e-reader. Though they’re wonderful and successful authors on their own, together these two women always seem to create magic. Top Secret featured characters with interesting and dynamic personalities who developed over the course of the book. Add to that the engaging dialogues and banter that often had me smiling and laughing, and I couldn’t help but be caught up in Keaton and Luke’s story. The romance between the young men does take a while to get going, with Top Secret employing both gay-for-you and enemies to lovers tropes. However, the likable characters combined with a fun and upbeat tempo kept my attention cover to cover, and the ending was just excellent. Not only did I get to see both characters mature individually, but their love story had me sighing over its sweetness mixed with the humor. Top Secret simply left me happy and is definitely one I’d recommend. *Reviewed for Alpha Book Club*

Imagine my surprise when one of my favorite writing duos unexpectedly released a new Male/Male book. I was pretty freaking excited when this appeared on my Kindle, let me tell you. I’m pleased to say Top Secret does not disappoint. If you are new to the M/M genre and are perhaps hesitant to give it a try, this is the perfect introduction. It’s funny, lighthearted, and sexy without being too graphic. This college romantic comedy is part enemies-to-lovers, part forbidden romance, and a 100% entertaining. We have Keaton Hayworth III to thank for the bulk of the humor. It is so easy to love Keaton. He might be a trust fund baby, but he’s not the least bit pretentious. Although he’s pretty laid back in most areas of his life, he is torn between following his passion or fulfilling his father’s high expectations. Keaton’s frat brother, Luke, is a tough nut to crack. Nothing is easy for him. He’s dirt poor, comes from a crappy upbringing, but he’s super intelligent and determined to achieve his dreams—even if it means keeping one small secret. Luke makes some questionable decisions, but overall I liked him despite his distrustful, broody nature. It makes a nice contrast to Keaton. When Keaton finds himself suddenly bi-curious, rather than getting freaked out he is open to exploring his curiosity. I loved that about him. Luke is bi-sexual, but that is where their similarities end. These two really don’t like each other. They are their truest selves when they are together, though. I’m a fan of banter via texting, and their app messages are funny and flirty. Top Secret was the perfect pick-me-up. I voluntarily read a complimentary copy.

Where do I start? This was one of those little gems that I absolutely adored. From the first to the last chapter I did not want to put this one down. I have absolutely no idea where one author stopped and the other started such was the seamless flow of this story. Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy have written yet another fantastic story which I highly recommend. These authors are some of the very best writing in the MM genre. This book is funny, steamy, sweet and was well written with characters that were strong and interesting. If I could have read this book in one sitting I would have. When Luke Bailey and Keaton Hayworth and Luke Bailey “meet” through a dating app discussing the potential for a threesome, I just new that we were in for a fantastic ride and I was not disappointed. I loved how Luke and Keaton started out and how it morphed in to such a swoon worthy story. The secondary characters were just as good as the Keaton and Luke and I found myself laughing out loud at the most awkward times. Do yourselves a favour and one click this brilliantly written book as soon as possible, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

4.5 stars — Dudes, isn’t it weird how you don’t know you’ve missed something until you get it again? I really love the way this duo writes together. I don’t even know how to describe what it is about their writing, but it’s just seamless. And you get the best of both writers. And OMG, their M/M romances in particular are just super steamy and hot combined with realism and dimension. And that’s the thing that stands out the most for me in this book, the depth of our two heroes. They are so real. I love how completely different they are from one another, yet I empathize with both of them, and truly feel like I understand how they came to be the men that they are now. And they’re both eminently likable! Keaton truly is a lovable puppy dog, seeking approval from his loved ones, while trying to embrace who he is inside. I loved his nerdy mind, his passion for animals, and his willingness to look deeper within himself. I LOVED that he didn’t try to hide or squash the new things he was learning about himself…I mean, he panicked and was confused, but he forged ahead. And Luke just broke my heart. He had so much drive, but it came from a place of insecurity. He was truly shaped by his past and his childhood, and it was hard to watch the arrows keep coming his way. I wanted him to discover his worth earlier, to learn to trust faster, but in the end it wouldn’t have been believable. And in the end it made every step forward that much more satisfying. And the two of them together surprised me. I loved their communications over Kink. I loved the way they connected with one another on a basic level. And in a strange way, I loved that they were so different in real life, neither one taking the time to look deeper into the other. I’m not always into enemies to lovers tropes, but this one was well done. And damn, did that hostility and tension make for some very hot scenes when they first got together. Like smoking. OMG, Luke’s dominant personality was just…wow. And the subtle way their relationship developed was kind of sweet too. I became fully invested in their romance. There were definitely some great secondary characters in this one as well. From the different personalities of the frat brothers, to Annika, to even Keaton’s Dad. They all added to make us learn more about the boys. On a side note, there is a very small element of non-physical cheating in this book. Cheating’s normally a button issue for me, but there are always exceptions. This would be one of them. The circumstances surrounding the relationships are super unique, and the way it all played out just didn’t have me turned off. Obviously it’s personal, but just thought I’d give one perspective from someone who doesn’t have much tolerance for that. So yeah. Super huge hit with me. I can definitely see myself checking out the audiobook when it becomes available, because I’d love to see Keaton and Luke’s story evolve all over again. Such a great combination of sass, humour, steam, and depth.

TOP SECRET, another amazing book by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy. Keaton Hayworth’s girlfriend, Annika Schiffer, wants a threesome for her birthday. Being a good boyfriend for the last six years he plans to make it happen. This contemporary romance is suitable for new adult readers. Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy did a noteworthy job with their character development. Keaton is a good guy. He comes from a wealthy family. His father likes to control his life. He’s a good boyfriend. He and Annika have been best friends and inseparable since high school. I like Luke Bailey. Unlike most of the kids who attend Darby College, he is a townie, and he does not come from money. He is hard working. He has a horrible family. The plot was clever. I like the use of the hook-up app and messaging. The story had amazing twists and unexpected outcomes. TOP SECRET is a fantastic story of self-discovery. It is about evaluating the reasons you do the things you do and being true to yourself. It also, demonstrates misjudging people and being open-minded. I suggest reading this book when you have a good chunk of time carved out because it is hard to put down. Fans of Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy will not be disappointed. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy are my favorite writing duo and I couldn't have been more excited to get my hands on Top Secret! Luke and Keaton's story was such a hilarious, sexy, and sweet M/M romance, but it was also emotional and heartfelt. There were times that my heart just hurt for these two as they navigated this new terrain and discovered who they are. I definitely wanted to throat punch Luke's mother and brother several times in the book, as well as a frat brother or two once true colors were shown. It was Keaton's parents who made the biggest transformation though, and with their support as well as Annika's, I really felt like the author's showed all the possible emotions that friends and loved ones might experience. Luke was mysterious and emotionally closed off thanks to his unfortunate upbringing, but his dedication and drive made him easy to root for. Keaton was easy going and emotionally more open, and I found his self discovery and revelations honest and heartwarming. He was coming into his own sexually as well as taking control of his life. These two had such amazing chemistry and I loved their banter and sexy innuendo while using the Kink app. They could be exactly who they were and it translated into some seriously sexy times! As much as I enjoyed their physical connection, I did feel like their emotional connection wasn't as deeply explored. There was some push and pull since they both needed to mature and reconcile their feelings for the other, but the ending felt a bit abrupt. I was hoping for an epilogue a little further down the line, but hopefully this is the start of a new series and we will catch glimpses of SinnerThree and LobsterShorts again! *I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book*
