Just as he's about to become a bitter, cynical old fart he runs into a beautiful young woman who will do her damnedest to open his eyes to the world. Find out if she does in Too Many White Men.

Look out!  Theres a new author on the scene, and he's awesome! I really enjoyed this book. Very well written... No confusion, simple enough to understand and mysterious enough to keep me reading. Took hold from the beginning, giving just enough clues to keep a person wanting to keep reading to see what, why and how it ends! Characters are well defined.... The plot mysteriously interesting.. Caution some areas may not be appropriate for young children. That said ... Those areas were very well written and tasteful, not the smutty stuff I've read in other books, but classy!  I recommend this read if you want some thing thats easy reading, thought provoking and enjoyable.

I enjoyed every word of this well written, well edited, easy to read, and thought provoking story. The writing is so smooth and easy to read. The book has a wonderful message. With a cast of lovable characters it tackles important, sensitive ideas with a creative balance of wacky  humor and seriousness.  I was immediately immersed in the story and thoroughly moved by it. More please.

This is the first novel by J.G. Alt and it is excellent reading. I read it over the course of 2 evenings. I didn't want to put it down! The novel starts out a little sluggish but don't let that deter you. It is well written and moves along at a good pace. It is about a middle-aged man, named Dan, whose wife has passed away, his daughters grown and gone, and is working at a job where he finds himself to be a dinosaur and unappreciated. On top of that, he has been arrested for a hate crime because he helped a man being beaten by thugs! He is very depressed and has lost all interest in living until he meets a young and slightly crazy art student who is both vulgar and sex crazed. The novel has a good story line and is thought provoking. The message, to use a cliche, don't judge a book by its cover.
