Have you ever wondered about the stories your family heirloom could tell? Join us as we follow this family's history told from the quilt's perspective. Quilts! The thought of these precious family heirlooms comforts our hearts. They give us a sense of belonging to something greater than ourselves. Quilts are ties that bind one generation to another. Quilts are beyond monetary value. They dance in the realm of sentiment, carefully passed to trusted members of our families. Today, we see many of these precious heirlooms at auctions and estate sales. This is a sad occurrence for us. We pray this book will be a subtle reminder to everyone who hopes to receive a family heirloom just how precious that item really is.

As a crafter and wanna-be quilter, I decided to read Tinsie's Story. What a delightful book. I will read it over and over! This book is as good as any that I have ever read!

Just finished reading 'Tinsie's Story'....wonderful read! It was a tender, loving story of strength of character, dedication to fellow man and love of family. Thank you Benny and Pat! I enjoyed the read very much and will always think of this book when I am quilting anything to give away, or to keep (which has never happened as yet - the keeping I mean).....

As a quilter, I will never look at a quilt in quite the same way. 'Tinsie's Story' touched my heart. I enjoyed reading (through the eyes of Tinsie's quilt) the stories of over 100 years of heartache, happiness and daily living with the Morton family. The strength of the Kentucky women is inspirational. This book would be a lovely gift for anyone aged 10 and up.

This was a wonderful story about a simpler time of life. I loved the getting to know the characters and feeling like a part of their lives. Wonderful book.

I laughed and cried. The 'quilt' has such a unique voice in this story! The characters are real and I was drawn into their family. This book is an easy read and one to be handed down from generation to generation.

Tinsie's Story: A Quilts Reflections is a very touching and moving story as told from a quilt's view. You can feel the emotions of the quilt itself as it is sad, happy, excited, tired, lonely, throughout the years as it is passed on through the next generation of its life. This book will be appreciated by all quilters who put so much work into their quilts and appreciate the loving touch, hard work, and history that goes into each one.
