This is a book that teaches programming in an old and novel way. Rather than use a computer to make sure you are learning to program, this book teaches students to program without using a computer - the way it was done in the beginning of computers. Through this book the student will learn the basics of programming along with the basics of a programming language teaching that language as if it was a natural language - language spoken by human beings. The goal being a better way to reach a person to program.

About the Author

Dr. Randy Kaplan has been writing programs for computers since the ripe young age of 12. He has worked on the "first" languages and taught them to thousands of students during the course of his lifetime. He has also designed specialized languages for people to use to make their programming process more efficient. Dr. Kaplan is an expert in teaching programming languages and this along with those that will follow demonstrates his expertise in teaching programming. Originally, Dr. Kaplan was a self taught programmer. He found he was quite ahead of most teachers in the realms of programming so whereas they were still teaching the "older" languages, Dr. Kaplan was forging ahead in newer more advanced languages.
