About the Author

Lynne graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Elementary Education and has nearly two decades of teaching experience which includes being an Instructional Coach for teachers in her school district. She has three children of her own who have given her the inspiration for this book.

Christopher is also a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin where he attained a degree in Architectural Engineering and works in Building Information Modeling and Visual Design and Construction. He is also founder and CEO of Hill Areas, Inc., a real estate investment firm.

Every night when Lynne put Christopher to bed, she would read him a bedtime story. One evening, they were inspired to create their own fable. Each night, they took turns adding a line of text. The story grew over time with neither of them knowing what direction it would take. Upon its completion, a moral fable had emerged that reminds us all that there truly are rewards when we are truthful, make decisions that are wise and thoughtful, and extend kindness to all with whom we come in contact.
