Jim Toner’s eclectic life includes a Bachelor’s Degree in French from Houghton College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Niagara University. He has worked for the last eleven years as a youth sponsor at his church. He has completed three courses of the Institute of Children’s Literature.
Over the years he has edited a few church newsletters and was briefly the leader of a writers’ group in Southern Ontario. He’s a member of the Word Guild. He has written for the Rock Express Management Newsletter and has seen his softball articles published in The Niagara Gazette. He has had a few letters published in Le Journal Français.
Currently he works for a Buffalo area accounting firm.
His interests include reading, writing, foreign languages, bicycling, softball, football, basketball, and hockey. He’s a loyal fan of the Niagara University Purple Eagles ladies’ basketball team.
His varied travels include Germany, France, Belgium, Holland, the three West Coast states, and various parts of Canada. He has taken the nickel-a-ride in Port Dalhousie.
The Purity Ring Murders is the second novel in the Gil Leduc series. Under the Blood was his first novel.
