Amelia Moore strikes again! Along with her always unforgettable sidekick, these two took me on a journey that I’ll never forget. I love how this author melds mystery with real life. Her seamless storytelling allows us to get to know her characters up close and personal as they work together, battling danger and piecing the mystery together. I love the bucket list concept that Amelia and Rick have going. Every spare moment that they have they use to help the other achieve their goals. It’s great for both their personal and professional relationships. I also enjoyed the slow growth of their personal relationship. It really added a lot to the tale for me. Once again Weaver Clarke has created a mystery that had me trying to unravel each and every aspect of it as the characters drew me in. This series has definitely captured my attention and the characters will always have a place in my heart. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

I SO LOVE reading about Amelia Moore and Rick Bonito! Their stories are fun and mysterious and entertaining and so good! Amelia Moore owns the Moore Detective Agency and I have blogged about her before... Now she has a case about a missing porcelain doll. With her partner, Rick, by her side she delves into the clues...which aren't much. All they know is that an employee of the museum, where the doll was on display, has gone missing as well...making him a suspect. Or was he set up? Follow the case as Amelia and Rick travel to Estes Park, Colorado. Along the way you will encounter: * An antique car show * A man of multiple disguises * Two FBI agents who are also following the case * One police officer who has to swallow his pride * A haunted hotel * And a story that will make you smile! "Where is the antique doll and who has taken it?" LOVE THIS AUTHOR! LOVE THIS SERIES! LOVE THIS STORY!

The Mysterious Doll is, by far, the best of the Amelia Moore Detective Series, written by Linda Weaver Clarke!  Every book she writes is better than the last one!  I have enjoyed reading most everything Linda has written! It is fun reading! Good story! Interesting characters! A little love interest!  What more could you want? Linda Weaver Clarke is a fun author to read.  Start with the first book in one of her series!  Read them all. You won't be disappointed.

This is the fourth book in the Amelia Moore Detective Series. Amelia and Rick are hired by Pauline Jones to find her missing boyfriend, Sam Whitaker. He has disappeared at the same time a valuable porcelain doll has gone missing from the museum where he works. Pauline is upset since she knows he's not a thief and it's not like him to just disappear without telling her where he's going. They start investigating and are led to Denver, Colorado. The more they learn about what's happening, the faster they realize they need to locate Sam because someone else is looking for him, too. Their final destination wasn't as exotic as their other books have been, but it was still fun to travel with them. Their relationship is progressing more and more and Amelia is starting to realize how she truly feels about Rick. I love Rick's charm. He works it with Amelia and other females as needed to get information to move their case along. They work well together and, once again, sinister men appear and they need to figure out what it is they want. This has been my favorite book so far. I love how the story weaves effortlessly between their relationship and their case. Amelia's getting more comfortable with Rick so his romantic side comes out more. There was more kissing and flirting between them in this book than there has been in other books (all clean) and I loved that, too! She's also willing to be more adventurous with him and they do some creative things as they continue to work on their Bucket Lists (in this book, they went ziplining). These books each stand on their own but if you want to watch Rick and Amelia's relationship progress, it's best to start with the first book and read them all! I received a copy of this book to review. My opinion is 100% my own.

"The Mysterious Doll"by Linda Weaver Clark is the fourth book in the Amelia Moore Detective Series and continues to follows Amelia Moore and her partner Rick Bonito. You don't have to read the other three books to like and enjoy " The Mysterious Doll" but I suggest reading them in order to follow the blooming relationship of Amelia and Rick. Yes these stories are mysteries but they are also a clean romance. In "The Mysterious Doll" Amelia and Rick are looking for a valuable porcelain doll along with Sam Whitaker, who is accused of stealing the doll. This book has more danger for Amelia and Rick than the other three but it is still family friendly ( this book has more guns shown but no one is shot).  Why did Sam just leave and not tell his girlfriend he was leaving and what is so important about the doll? Who are are the three men that shows up everywhere Amelia and Rick are? Rick and Amelia found time to do some of the things that are on their bucket list. I really like these books as there are tense moments and humor. I like the fact that each book shows Rick and Amelia growing closer as a couple. These stories always has a surprise ending and the culprit is always someone this reader never suspects, this story was no exception to that fact! Once again the scenes and what the characters are feeling are well described so the readers feels like they are watching the story take place instead of reading! I feel "The Mysterious Doll" is my favorite of the four books. Maybe because the ending totally caught me off guard. I feel I have too say that even though these books are family friendly, in this book there is more kissing and one scene that some might find inappropriate and the flirting between Rick and Amelia might be wrong to some readers.  I don't mean to imply that anything is wrong with these stories because there isn't! Even with saying that I love reading these books and cannot wait to read the next book and hope the author gives me a chance to review it for her as she did this one. I am giving this book five stars. I was given a ebook copy for an honest review!  I strongly recommend this series to any reader of clean romances and mysteries that aren't too  mysterious!
