About the Author
Dawn Marie Martenz is the mother of a child with Dravet's Syndrome, a severe form of epilepsy that appeared in early infancy and resulted in dozens, sometimes hundreds, of myoclonic seizures a day, who has significantly reduced her seizures on the ketogenic diet since 2010. She is the author of The Keto Cookbook (with Laura Cramp, RD). Beth Zupec-Kania, RDN, CD, works to promote safe and effective use of ketogenic therapies. She has written many publications and designed KetoDietCalculator, a web-based program for calculating ketogenic diets. Zupec-Kania is a consultant to The Charlie Foundation for Ketogenic Therapies and has provided ketogenic training to over 150 medical centers worldwide.
