12 years after the collapse of the United States, the town of New Haven has recovered the best they could without electricity. Their new sense of normal is challenged when the spring season never arrives and the townspeople are are forced to survive in a world where crops no longer grow and hunting is close to impossible.
John, the sheriff of New Haven, is forced out into the cold when people start to disappear and he might be on the trail of a killer.
