Chapter One
There once was a little girl, named Stella, who loved music. From the time Stella was a baby she could only fall asleep with music playing in her crib. She would cuddle with her soft pink monkey, watch the colorful animals whirl by and listen to the sweet sounds of a lullaby.
When Stella was one year old, her first activity was Music Class. Once a week she went with her mommy and her friends to play games with the teacher and learn cute songs to sing with special hand movements. Stella loved to sing these happy little songs.
Grandma has a very special clock in her house that plays music every hour. No matter which room Stella is in, she runs to the front hall to listen to the clock's song. Stella and her sister dance ballet with Grandma whenever they hear the clock play and chime.
Stella also enjoys watching television at Grandma's house. Grandma makes popcorn and they sit together on the sofa watching a movie with lots of singing and dancing. Stella always chooses The Wizard of Oz. She loves the part where they dance down the "yellow brick road."
