Chapter One
There once was a little girl, named Cooper Emma, who loves colors. Each morning as the sun sparkles into Cooper's room she sees bright rays of YELLOW shining through the windows. The color yellow makes Cooper happy. She jumps out of bed to get ready for school. School buses are yellow, pencils are yellow and bananas are yellow.
On the way to school Cooper sees lots of GREEN. The color green makes Cooper excited. She can't wait to get to class and see her friends. Leaves are green, grass is green and frogs are green.
School reminds Cooper of the color RED. The color red makes Cooper feel smart. Cooper's backpack and lunch box are red. Apples are red, cherries are red, and ladybugs are red.
