Chapter One

There once was a little girl, named Reesie, who loved books.

Reesie liked to sit up in bed and read books to herself after her Mommy said "goodnight," even though she really didn't know how to read yet.

She would line up all her stuffed animals and dolls and read out loud to them until she got sleepy. She would finally fall asleep dreaming about her favorite stories.

When Reesie went to visit Grandma, she always wanted to read the Special Books that lived on Grandma's bookshelf.

Reesie would choose two favorite stories and then Grandma and Reesie would cuddle in a big chair and read them together. Reesie always wanted Grandma to read just one more.

Some days Grandma would take Reesie to the town library where they would spend hours reading and picking out books to borrow and take home.
