Dante and Blays have averted war against their new home of Narashtovik. But they didn't do so alone. It's time to repay their debts.

The norren who helped them remain enslaved by the Gaskan Empire. While arming the norren clans for rebellion, Dante hears one of them is in possession of the legendary Quivering Bow. If he can track down the weapon, it could secure norren independence.

But the wheels of war have already begun to turn. As Gask moves to crush the rebellion, Dante and Blays find themselves at the head of a campaign for survival-for norren and Narashtovik alike.

An epic journey. I couldn't put the book down until I turned the last page.

I started this series with the first novel nestled in a compilation book of 14 novels by various authors. I loved the first book so much I immediately purchased this next installment. (And upon devouring that book, purchased the third.) It is wonderful to find a series that grips you from the beginning and manages to keep its pace through the entire series. It is imaginative, original, and well written. The characters are fleshed out, and I found them very likeable. The author has suceeded in his craft when the reader finds themselves empathizing and sympathising with people who only exist in the imagination. The constant wit of dialogue between the characters was refreshing and only served to deepen my reading enjoyment. It isn't often I give a 5 star rating but this series deserves it. Well done!
