Overview

The search for a legendary automobile threatens the careers and lives of husband-and-wife team Sam and Remi Fargo in this thrilling adventure in Clive Cussler's bestselling series.

In 1906, a groundbreaking Rolls-Royce prototype known as the Gray Ghost vanishes from the streets of Manchester, England, and it is only the lucky intervention of an American detective named Isaac Bell that prevents it from being lost forever. Not even he can save the good name of Jonathan Payton, however, the man wrongly blamed for the theft, and more than a hundred years later, it is his grandson who turns to Sam and Remi Fargo to help prove his grandfather's innocence.

But there is even more at stake than any of them know. For the car has vanished again, and in it is an object so rare that it has the capacity to change lives. Men with everything to gain and a great deal to lose have a desperate plan to find it--and if anybody gets in their way? They have a plan for that, too.

This is my favorite Fargo book so far — it was interesting and different from their other adventures. I also liked the tie-in with Isaac Bell.

Another great read. Cussler and co, always come up with a great yarn to spin.this time combining the Fargo’s and Isaac Bell in the same story but from different generations.

I pre-ordered my hard cover copy and was excited to read about the Fargo's. I have read all of the Fargo adventures and really enjoyed them. This was not of that caliber. I forced myself to get to page 202 and just can't read any more.

Cussler has worked his magic, again. The Gray Ghost is a thrilling story, not to be missed. The book's plot, characters and historical aspect kept me turning the pages, as fast as I could read them. Please pardon any typos, grammatical errors and misspelled words.

This is really the bottom of the barrel for Fargo fans. The story line staggers all over the place. Events are poorly connected. Writing is clunky and boring. Not worth what I paid for the e-book. Save your money. If you are determined to read it then check it out from the library. I can almost guarantee you will return it partially unread.
