Shelby and her sister Sadie enlist the help of Vander Montgomery sparks fly instantly between him and Shelby but they both take an instant dislike to each other. Eventually they bring in the rest of the siblings to help on the trail of finding their father and his family with surprising results. I was so excited to go back to Dare River! This book was amazing. Full of emotion and you feel like you are really there, living the story. Vander and Shelby just felt right together, so much so. I really enjoyed this book and was sad for it to end. I highly recommend it!

It is great to be back in Dare River. You get to catch up with old friends and meet some new friends. Shelby McGuiness and her sister, Sadie, are on their way to meet with a private investigator, Vander Montgomery. Shelby's boss, Gail, had recommended him. They want to find their father who abandoned the family when they were young. They had questions and Mama refused to discuss it. They had not told her what they were doing which was not sitting well with either of them. Their sister, Susannah, and brother, JP, knew and were ok with the search. Vander decides to take their case even though his associate, Charlie, has her reservations. Shelby believes in wishes but Vander has lost all his faith in wishes. Ava Miles writes with a great insight of people. Her people are complex and interesting. Their hopes, fears, emotions and their actions make you feel like you are right there with them in their search. She always conveys the need for trust and honesty in a relationship. I can never put down one of Ava Miles books. I cannot wait to read Sadie's story!

Once again, Ava Miles takes you to a place where there is hope. The Fountain of Infinite Wishes has strong characters with a great storyline. Family, love, friendship and secrets all play an integral part in the telling of Vander and Shelby's story. If you have not experienced Dare River yet, you are missing out. I call Ava's books, 'feasible fairy tales" because they make you believe in fairy tales but in a way that is reachable for all. I was given an advanced copy. All opinions expressed are my own.

Wow! I love this Dare Valley series of books! From the moment I started reading The Fountain of Infinite Wishes I was drawn right back in the McGuiness's lives like I had just read the previous one last week! It had been months! Shelby is just a heck of a southern belle, and what a pistol she is! Ava Miles has a way of drawing you into the characters lives and as a reader you become to care about these people. I found myself laughing, sobbing at times, and being very melancholy too. I could barely put the book down! If you're looking for a wonderful series of books that draws you into the lives of characters look no more! The Dare Valley series is what your looking for! Thank you for another wonderful book Ava Miles! "I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own." What a wonderful story! There are interesting characters that have unique connections throughout. A dark secret from long ago slowly comes to light as Shelby and Vander search for answers. It could destroy lives, are faith, love and strong family bonds enough? The very talented author draws you into the story from the start and I look forward to reading more of her work. I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review; all conclusions are my own.

WOW! Loved this book. I really like Shelby's sass and her banter with Vander. The story was amazing and I love this family. The characters feel like family to me.

Shelby McGuinness, along with her sister Sadie, have wanted to know about their father, who left their family long ago. Shelby does not realize she will discover far more than she expected. Shelby and Sadie enlist the help of Vander, an elite private investigator. Shelby and Vander soon discover they have far more in common than daddy issues. Ava writes a twisting novel of suspense. The entire McGuinness clan becomes involved in the discovery of Mr. McGuinness and also the relationship that develops between Shelby and Vander. Ava makes both stories pivotal in order to keep you reading until the very end. "I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. First, I need to mention that I love Ava Mile’s books. I have read them all. I always get so immersed in the books and the characters that I can forget I am only reading about them. The Fountain of Infinite Wishes is the 5th book in Ava Miles’ Dare Valley series. It is Vander and Shelby’s story. The story goes around Shelby McGuiness’ desire to find her father and the McGuiness siblings getting answers on their father’s disappearance. Their father disappeared when they were a very young, and their mother has never answered any questions about it. Shelby and her sister Sadie hire a successful Private Investigator, Vander, to find their dad. On the other end, Vander is dealing with his own personal demons. His father was brutally killed when Vander was only a kid. He is dealing with the 25th anniversary of the loss of his father. Throughout the story you keep trying to guess why Shelby’s dad left, what kind of bad things did he do, or what was so bad for him to leave with no trace, and is he alive or dead. I was a little disappointed as to the reason why he left and the fact there was no hope for reconciliation. We all, at any given time could make mistakes, how we learn from them and how we live the rest of our lives would write the rest. Does everyone need a second chance? Throughout this whole ordeal, Shelby and Vander find themselves attracted to each other. Therefore, there was a bit of "tension" between them as the search for her father continued. Vander will not break his rule not to date client and continues to struggle with the strong attraction he feels towards Shelby. It ended up that their father did not want to be found because of how his pass would hurt his children and a promise he gave long time ago to Shelby’s mom. After breaking the news to Shelby's family, Vander and Shelby finally had a date. Going forward, they were inseparable. She brought out feelings in him that he hadn't ever felt since losing his father when he was a boy. They both moved fast showing their love for each other. Not only did Shelby's family have to deal with loss and the truth of their father, but Vander was also dealing with the 25th anniversary of the loss of his father. The way both families came together was emotional and beautiful. One of the things I like the most about Ava Miles are her male characters. She continues the tradition with Vander. He is real, a strong individual, secured on his convictions. Vance’s struggle feels authentic. I could not relay much about these female characters. Both sisters, Shelby and Sadie, seem needy and immature. Not my expectation on the Southern women we have seen on prior stories. It is the first time I feel this way about any of Ava Miles’ female characters. I truly liked Charlie’s character and I hope she will get her story told in the near future. Overall, this was another entertaining and emotional story. I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own..

I have ready many of this author's books and there is always one common link: family. This story focuses on Shelby and Vander's story and how a search for the truth about Shelby's father leads to some unexpected discoveries. It is truly a picture of a family who sticks together thru thick and thin, no matter what happens. The description of characters and places are untouchable and it is worth taking your time to read this story. I received an ebook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.

This is Shelby and Vander's story. Shelby is the epitome of a southern lady, but she has many layers that surprise Vander. Vander is the PI hired to find Shelby's dad. He doesn't mix business with pleasure, but Shelby is far too tempting. When reading this book I can perfectly picture the setting the book. Which is the norm when reading an Ava Miles book. I just enjoyed the banter between Vander and Shelby. The title of the book fits this book. As someone who does throw a penny in fountains that I come across to make a wish it makes me realize to never stop making those wishes. Though they seem silly to some to wish, but those wishes lead to dreams that lead to goals that we achieve. No one should give that up. Ava Miles did an excellent job writing this one. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book

Think Ferrari. Think pure, unadulterated joy. Then, READ with a most incredibly blissful smile. Shelby McGuiness and Vander Montgomery’s romance ran like a well-maintained and gloriously powered luxury car, the type that I, for one, have always dreamed of racing, wind all in my hair, on the coast of Southern France. I will not offer you any spoilers because I want you to enjoy this read, which you can do only by getting to know it thoroughly like your brand new Ferrari. Go ahead, take it out on the open road. You won’t regret it! Then, you’ll want to take it out again immediately for another spin. I can’t tell you how many times (because I was too engrossed in the story) I silently high-fived Shelby, or I laughed out loud at Shelby and Vander’s banter as well as Shelby’s employer Gail’s antics, or I was “right there with” whenever the McGuiness family interacted as in times of need, they came together and comforted each other with affection and food. Classic elegance meets racy in this latest installment of Dare River when Shelby and Vander work together in order to solve the mystery of her father’s disappearance ages ago. Shelby’s an accountant and she’s decided to take the advice of her employer Gail and locate her daddy at long last. Gail is an immensely wealthy, lively, and extravagant woman who loves the finer things, and she holds no qualms about speaking her mind, or as she’d say, “speaking her piece.” It’s Gail’s recommendation that led Shelby to Vander’s office. Shelby knew that she wouldn’t find true peace of mind until she solved the mystery of her missing daddy, which was only all the more puzzling since her usually forthcoming mama was always so tight-lipped about the reasons why he left their family. Shelby’s mama is Reverend Louisa, the self-same quiet powerhouse who helped military veteran and country singer Jake heal in The Promise of Rainbows, and keeping secrets like this isn’t her usual cup of tea. So, the chase is on, and rather quickly, too, because as soon as Shelby and Vander meet, sparks fly. As a very successful, yet compassionate private investigator, Vander understands how painful unsolved mysteries can be. He lost his own daddy at the age of 10, and no one has solved the arctic cold case of the murder of his prominent police detective father 25 years ago. Vander does his very best to remain completely professional, and refuses to get involved with his client Shelby. Vander, Shelby and her three siblings, baby sis Sadie, big sis Susannah, and big brother J.P. meet with their paternal grandma who gives them the very best lead on their father Preston. Vander eventually speaks with Preston, but can’t convince him to meet with his children. Preston immediately goes on the run again, and only offers a hasty apology for doing so—no detailed explanations given, only allusions to some agreement he made with his ex-wife, Reverend Louisa. While heartbroken that Shelby won’t meet her daddy, she and Vander experience some elation that they’re able to see each other personally and explore those sparks. Ava Miles continues bringing her characters to life, each distinctively different even though they share family bonds that are almost broken by current social issues. I love all of her series, so read them all! Note: I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.

I LOVED it! With every book that Ava Miles write I seem to say the same thing. Each of her stories draws you in and makes you want to keep coming back for more. With everything that Shelby McGuiness and her family have been through she has never quit believing in wishes, but the day that her daddy left the family is a dark spot in their lives and she and her brother and sisters hope that someday they can find him along with answers to why he left them all those years ago. Vander Montgomery is considered a hero in the community after coming back to start his own business as a P.I helping those who need his help the most, but after that horrible night as a child when his life was turned upside down he no longer believes in wishes, just hard work and pushing through. Shelby soon finds that she has new wishes that include Vander in her life and Vander is thinking maybe wishes still do come true. I'm looking forward to reading more stories from Ava Miles in the future! I was given an advanced reader copy. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.

First I have to say I love Ava Mile’s books, and this one is no exception. I always get so immersed in the books and the characters that I can forget I am only reading about them. The Fountain of Infinite Wishes is the 5th book in the Dare Valley series. You do not have to have read all of the books in the series to read this book, it can be read by itself. This book is about Shelby and Vander’s story, but also about the McGuiness siblings getting answers on their father’s disappearance. Vander is a Private Investigator that Shelby and her siblings hire to find out about what happened to their father since their mother will not give them any information. Their father disappeared when they were a very young, and their mother has never answered any questions about it. This is a great story, but it also pulls at your heart for what they must be going through, it’s a trying time with so many emotions for all of the siblings to deal with. On top of all that, Vander and Shelby have had a sexual attraction from the first time they met and Vander is trying to keep things professional because he won’t date a client, although Shelby respects that she doesn’t make it easy. Throughout the story you keep trying to guess why their dad left, what kind of bad things did he do, or what was so bad for him to leave with no trace, and is he alive or dead. This is a great story and when you find out why the dad left you will be surprised. I encourage anyone looking for a great story, about life, love, wishes and believing to read this and all the other Dare Valley books. "I was given an advanced copy. This is the story of Shelby and Vander. Shelby still believed in wishes and Vander stopped believing the night his father was killed. Shelby and her sister Sadie want to find their father. Their father left when Shelby was a small child and Sadie was a baby. They do not understand why he left and their Momma will not say a word about it. Again, they don’t understand because Momma is a preacher and there is forgiveness and all that but they don’t see that from Momma for their Daddy. They hire Vander Montgomery as he is a highly successful private investigator, to find their father. This book is based in Nashville and there is a lot of southern charm seen throughout the pages. There is instant chemistry between Shelby and Vander but Vander has a set of standards that he doesn’t date his clients. It was interesting to see how the investigation progresses and what is found out is a doozy! I really didn’t see that coming and Ava does a terrific job with this story. I truly enjoyed it. I was given an advanced copy. All opinions expressed are my own.

A wonderful reminder to continue to wish ~ they do come true! My favorite thing about Ava Miles is her ability to draw you into the story. It is though you are a part of the lives of the characters. You are a part of their community. You feel what they feel; the joy of believing in wishes from Shelby, the drive for justice from Vander and the flamboyance of Gail’s life. Each character comes to life. From previous books, you know the desire that Shelby and her siblings have to know what happened that made their father leave and why their mother won’t speak of it. Enter Vander and his associate, Charlie, who becomes a fan favorite right away. Vander is a Private Investigator who lost his father tragically. They begin the process of looking for Shelby’s father and Shelby’s belief in her “wishes” is tested. The pain this family feels is so real, as is the joy and love. Once you being this story, you won’t be able to put it down. You will be “wishing” for Sadie’s story to be out soon!

A wonderful addition to the Dare River series! Shelby made wishes in her employer's magic fountain: for the job, for her family...to find her father. She firmly believed in the power of those wishes. Vander is a private investigator who believes in luck, not wishes. He works hard to find the answers to others' problems, where his own remained unanswered. Recommended by her employer, Shelby and her sister hire Vander to help find their daddy. There is an instant connection that both fight very hard to ignore. As the search continues, bringing new information and finding new relatives, Shelby and Vander become closer until they cannot ignore the sparks any longer. Ms. Miles again brings a heart-wrenching and thought-provoking tale to her readers. I highly recommend this book, as well as the rest of her novels! I was given an advanced copy. I have always loved Ms Miles books especially the Dare River series. John Parker was my most favorite book boyfriend for a long time so I was really excited about reading The Fountain of Infinite Wishes. Like the rest of the Dare River books, Ms Miles focuses a lot on family and that is one of the things I love most about her writing. I totally love reading about John Parker again. He is a really great brother and you just can't help but love him. I also loved Vander. He has a heart-breaking past and even though that has stopped him from believing in wishes, it doesn't stop him from being a sensitive guy. He makes a perfect hero. Sadly, I was disappointed with Shelby. Perhaps it's because I can't put myself in her shoes and just can't understand the depth of the hurt her father caused her. I just feel that her reactions were a little over. However, overall The Fountain of Infinite Wishes is still a great read and I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves an emotional read. *I was given an advanced copy. This Dare River book features Shelby McGuiness & Vander Montgomery. When Shelby decided to try to find her father after 26 years of his having left the family, she hires Vander. They are both attracted to each other, but Vander’s rule is to never get involved with a client. After reaching a dead end and ending the search, Vander & Shelby start dating and both realize they are falling in love with each other. When Vander learns the story behind Shelby’s Daddy leaving the family, he is caught between telling Shelby or not. When she finds out the story and that Vander knew but didn’t tell her, she is both hurt and angry, but they find their way back to each other. I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.
