When you combine passion + integrity (plus a lot of love and caring) with a side of humor = expect a MASTERPIECE and that is what you get with all of the Esselstyn books. The entire Esselstyn family is devoted to healthy living. Pure genius. I first watched Rip Esselstyn's TED Talk and was blown away. Then I bought the audio version of his most recent book Engine 2 7-Day Rescue Diet -- amazing. THE best resource on nutrition and health I have ever received. Getting my hands on the cookbook and all the amazing recipes by Jane Esselstyn, Rip's sister was a must have!! The recipes are easy to make, fun and the book is beautifully done. If you want a SPECIAL treat --- go to YouTube and watch Jane Esselstyn and her mother, Ann in the kitchen, the videos are HYSTERICAL and the food is delicious!!!!!!!!!!!! And an added bonus, their food products are available at Whole Foods!! The veggie burgers are phenomenal and the popcorn (no oil added) is the best I've ever had -- HUGE puffy kernels!! The granola is also excellent and the veggie burritos - yummm!! I wish I could buy the audiobook and the cookbook for ALL my friends -- the information is so vital if you want to feel your best. I am in awe of the entire family and their crusade for healthy living. By far THE best resource on nutrition -- completely changed my life!!! THANK YOU!!
