This book is amazing. Don't let the size or the price intimidate you. It's large print makes it easy to read. You can't put this book down. The characters pull you right into their world and you want to know more. I finished it in a week and half. The way the author describes the scenery and the events puts you right in the middle. She'll have you laughing in one sentence and crying in the next. At times she'll put you right on the edge of your seat. You have to read this book.

I'm not much of a reader but my friend told me about this book. I picked it up and i found myself not wanting to put it down. The main character is a dream for which almost every girl dreams about and the rest of the characters remind you of all your friends that you grew up with. This is a definite great book to read and I recommended it to every one. There is action and romance in this book. You can almost see your self in the book as you are reading it. I can hardly wait for the next book.

Dark Wolf is a book that will keep you occupied for hours. It spins the 'tail' (heh, pun) of Todd Bradford and his saga across the globe defending our country. I was very pleased to read such a book that elevated our young marines and the fight against terrorism. The marine-talk is very funny and can sometimes get pretty involved. I love the way Laree introduces new characters such as Shauna and Taylor. A reader can tell she really knows her stuff about horses and running ranches (even though I don't know much about them). It would have been nice to learn a bit more of the lore surrounding the Dark Wolf and a clearer plot, but perhaps that's for the next book!
