The Dark Days series in one of my favorites in recent years. Rich regency detail with a fascinating demon hunting sub culture that had me devouring the pages of the stunning conclusion to a fantastic series!

I love how history and fiction are woven together with the supernatural. Kept me reading straight through 'til the end!

This is a grand finish to the trilogy. Great dangers. Uncertain people. Love in all the wrong places, as it were. My only complaint is that with so much to cover and wrap up, I felt that this book was a little less tight than the previous ones. A few bits that left me thinking, Wait, what happened to...? I'm pleased with myself. I was uncomfortable and suspicious of one character who turned out to be a major evil being.
