A boy dicing with death in a Mediterranean field; the culmination of a marriage in Berlin; a high-born French collaborator waiting for the crowd's retribution in liberated Paris...

Set across the globe, this cocktail of ten short stories by T.A.P. Woodard vividly captures the highs and lows of an array of contrasting characters, wherein a key event, however insignificant, can have a seismic effect on a life forever.

About the Author

The author spent much of his early childhood overseas in Malaysia, Malta and Cyprus as the son of a serving RAF pilot, prior to attending boarding school back in the UK.

After spending time travelling in South East Asia and in various jobs in the property and telecoms industry, The Carob And Other Short Stories is T.A.P. Woodard's first foray into publishing.

A full-length novel entitled 'Balance' will follow shortly, with hapless house-sitter, Bartholomew, as the central character. A second in the series is currently in the planning, set in Cambridge, and again featuring Bartholomew.

T.A.P. Woodard lives in Wiltshire with his wife and two young daughters.
