Sugar bugs are dancing.
They are dancing all around.
They are dancing on your teeth and gums.
They are jumping up and down.

Everyone has sugar bugs. Little girls. Little boys. Big girls and big boys. Even moms, dads, aunts and uncles. Take a trip to Dr. Jonas' office with three year old, Julie, as she learns about brushing and flossing her teeth. In the end, Julie's one year old brother, Keith, also has his first visit with Dr. Jonas because even he is old enough to learn how to stop the sugar bugs from dancing on his teeth.

About the Author

Mindy Lee George grew up in the little town of Canso, Guysborough County, Nova Scotia. Her love for writing began when she was eight years old. She started taking her writing seriously after winning second place in a Remembrance Day poetry contest, and she's been writing inspirational poetry for loved ones ever since. Mindy Lee is a full time mother of three boys and realized reading and storytelling played an important part in their lives. When she isn't busy with them, she enjoys writing poems and rhyming stories. Sugar Bugs is her second children's book, inspired by her children and their habits for brushing their teeth. Mindy Lee now resides in Belnan, NS, with her husband and their three boys: Donavin, Lane and Jaxon.
