I GAVE THIS BOOK FOUR OUT OF FIVE STARS.THIS BOOK IS ABOUT A KID NAMED BERNIE WHO IS THINKING ABOUT GIVING UP ON HIS PITCHING.HE THOUGHT HE WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH ANYMORE.HIS FRIEND DAVE WOULDN'T LET HIM QUIT.HE BELIEVES IN HIM AND THINKS HE'S A GOOD BASEBALL PLAYER.HE TEACHES BERNIE TO THROW THE 'SUBMARINE PITCH'.I ENJOYED READING THIS BOOK BECAUSE IT WAS A REALLY GOOD BOOK TO READ AND IT SHOWED TRUE FRIENSHIP.THIS BOOK ALSO TAUGHT BERNIE TO BELIEVE IN HIMSELF AND NOT GIVE UP ON HIS DREAM.THIS BOOK SHOWS THAT NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO IN LIFE,IT'S NOT THE SAME UNLESS YOUR FRIENDS OR FAMILY IS THERE TO SHARE IT WITH YOU.I ENJOYED THIS BOOK THE MOST BECAUSE IT MAKES ME BELIEVE THAT YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO.DEFINATELY A BOOK WORTH READING WHETHER YOU LIKE BASEBALL OR NOT.
