About the Author

This exercise log book was designed by Walter Jackson, Msc.D.. a former Four-Sport star athlete, who reinvented himself when a tragic car accident stole his career. He was in a coma for four-days with multiple injuries. Doctors said he wouldn't live, but Walter proved them wrong. By getting back into an exercise regime, and keeping track of his progress, he learned how to walk again, and get back in shape. "Keeping track of your workouts," says Walter "Helps you to stay motivated to achieve your goals."

A motivational speaker in top demand, Walter shares principles he learned and used in sports to physically and mentally get back into shape and in the game of life. Some of the quotes in the log book helped him stay motivated. Walter was a project manger for the Federal Government for over 20 years, and today speaks to corporations, non-profit organizations, colleges, and high-schools, sharing sports principles for personal empowerment.

He holds a doctorate in metaphysics, and is a licensed Heartmath Coach. He was inducted into the African-American Sports Hall of Fame in Stockton, California.
