When we opened the box and took out the book we were impressed by the picture of the cargo bay of the shuttle. The details were so vivid you can see who is taking the picture of the mission specialist in his helmet. The photographs inside seem to be Hi Definition and the book starts with details regarding space exploration history to the construction of EVA's to composition of and the packaging of the food the specialists eat! A couple of nice surprises were:1- a DVD with some cool pictures of the shuttle and other clip art you can transfer to your desktop and,2- a really nice poster with a time line that leads up to the present day space exploration programs. We enjoy this book for a couple of hours at a time, and my "kids" are 25!
