Overview

They've both dug their roots deep...eight hundred miles apart.

Zoe Griffin has a fresh new life--a hard-earned doctorate degree and a burgeoning nutritionist practice in Colorado. The only thing missing is the man she fell in love with.

Cooper Flannagan did "new life" ad nauseam as an Army brat and shudders at the very mention of change. His fellow firefighters on San Amaro Island, Texas, are his family. He's dug his roots deep, and he finally feels like he belongs. But can he ever be truly content without the woman he loves?

Slow Burn is a stand-alone short story with a four-alarm happy ever after in the Island Fire series.

Dive into this sexy, engrossing series today!

4 stars I purchased Slow Burn Island Fire book 10 by Amy Knupp and this review was given freely. Cooper gets a second chance at love with Penn's sister Zoe when she and her mom spend Penn's birthday weekend on San Amaro Island. This is a tension filled short excerpt with a steamy scene and a 4 week later epilogue that provides a happy ending.
