This is the sloppiest writing I have EVER come across in a published book. There are all kinds of grammatical mistakes on virtually every page, from punctuation and sentence construction right through to leaving words out and choosing incorrect vocabulary in the first place. Infinitely worse are the glitches and repeats in the story itself (just one example out of many: Hannah actually walks down the aisle TWICE, in as many pages). In addition, the story plot is simplistic, predictable and clicheed, including a main female character who childishly jumps to judge and condemn an action she totally misunderstands - and many of their actions don't make the slightest sense. The characters are sparsely developed - if at all - and names are suddenly thrown in that we've never even heard before, expecting us to know who they are. And, sadly, the way the (multiple) sex scenes are written is NOT enjoyable or sensual - the scenes just feel dirty. All in all, it's as if this writer dashed off some general thoughts for a possible story on toilet paper one day while sitting in the bathroom, and then asked an uncaring editor throw it together and get it self-published. There is not one thing to redeem this book. There is ZERO actual "writing" in it. I will watch for this author, specifically in order to avoid her in the future. I always find something positive to say in every book review I write, but in this case I truly can't find a thing - mainly because the author obviously could not care less about her work. THAT deeply offends me.

Editing was so bad it became annoying and the lead male character was an ass. I realized I wasn't interested in the couple making a go of their relationship. Found myself skipping pages and then just quit.

Drew calls in Hannah's IOU and asks her to marry him. Super sweet love story! Love Marquita's writing style. You simply care about her characters in short order.

This was a short, sweet story and just what I needed this week! Drew Montgomery and Hannah Miller have known one another since they were kids. They spent summers together up until Hannah was 17 and back when she was 13, Drew saved her life when he rescued her from a riptide. She rewarded him with an IOU that he was able to redeem for anything. Fast forward ten years and Drew is readying himself to take over Montgomery Industry from his retiring father as long as he meets the one bit of criteria that's been set - he gets married within 48 hours and stays married for 5 years. Drew begins going through all of the possible people he could marry and there is only one name that continues to rise to the top - Hannah Miller. Hannah has loved Drew for years, so while the situation might not be ideal, she jumps at the chance to be his wife and she plans to prove to him that this could, and should, last more than it's 5 year shelf life. After the ceremony takes place, we go along for the ride as these two try to navigate an untraditional marriage. Will Drew's work ethic sink the marriage before it starts? Will Hannah be able to leave the Outer Banks to relocate to Charlotte? And, most importantly, will the love they've both felt for years, be enough to sustain them in the end? This was a great start to the series, and I look forward to Blake and Ella's story!

Seducing the Billionaire's Wife is the perfect start to Marquita Valentine's Seducing the Billionaire series. Groomed since birth to take over the family business, Andrew has always received whatever he's wanted. Now as an adult he is on the verge of losing it all, due to stipulations that his father has made. But an old blast from the past may change in all. Hannah owes Andrew a favor that he is calling in. Can a marriage of convenience lead to love? Or is this couple just too different to make it work? A fun read full of seduction and heart. I loved it and would definitely recommend this book. Received an ARC of this book for an honest review.

He saved her life when they were younger Now he is calling in the IOU. His dad won't give him control of the company unless he is happily married. He looked a found his old friend Hannah but he wrote up a stupid contract but he's falling in love.
