So many secrets are flying around Room 26 that Humphrey can barely keep track. Mrs. Brisbane knows a student is leaving, but Humphrey can't figure out which one. (Even more confusing, Mrs. Brisbane seems unsqueakably happy about it.) The class is studying the Ancient Egyptians, and some of the kids have made up secret clubs and secret codes. Even Aldo is holding back news from Humphrey.
Humphrey's job as classroom pet is to help his humans solve their problems, but all these secrets are making it HARD-HARD-HARD!

We are sorry that this is the last book......hoping for more! My 7 year old grandson has loved each and every Humphrey book. Wonderful for children to read out loud or have read to them. Sweet books with enough fun and fantasy (in the character of Humphrey) while providing nice lessons (friendship, helpfulness, etc.) in an easy manner. As a grandma and an educator, I highly recommend Humphrey for children in grades 1-3.
Who does't like a cute (or like Humphrey says, cute cute cute) little hamster? Everyone loves Humphery. I reccomend it to anyone. Exept for big punks who would like to kill hamsters. I have no idea why I just wrote that. It is very tragic. You didn't read anything. Oooooooooooo.
My two daughters can't get enough of Humphrey. My oldest started reading them in third grade and still looks forward to each book release. Now my second grader has read them all and hopes more will come. Humphrey is a terrific series!
