Overview

I never wanted a cat, but the ever-kittens don't seem to care, and now I have more than ever.

The last thing I expected when I came to Grimalkin was to learn I'd been cursed. And yet, now I am. I have no choice but to find a way to break it. But first, I need to work out who cast it in the first place.

At least I have some warlocks by my side to lend a helping hand.

Second Time's A Curse is the second book in the Grimalkin Academy: Kittens Trilogy. It is a slow burn academy reverse harem.

This was as entertaining, exciting and amusing as the first book. Mona is still having problems with her magic and there is more angst, drama and betrayal but luckily for Mona she still has her men and a whole spill of very cute kittens to make life a little more bearable. Wonderful characters and a story that will keep you enchanted from start to finish.

Short read, sweet story 3.5 Stars This is the second book in the Grimalkin Academy series, and continuation of Mona's story. Still unable to cast spells, without produce kittens, Mona is trying to find a cure to the curse that has been plaguing her. This was an enjoyable read, entertaining, and fun. I look forward to reading the next book. 3.5 Stars I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I usually like books by Laura Greenwood but this book is an exception. I found it juvenile and incomplete in some key areas. It might have been better if I had read the first book in the series. I won’t try to dissuade her fans, but this is definitely not a good one to start on. Is it terrible? It is not. Is it really good? It is not. Meh I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Second Time’s a Curse by Laura Greenwood is the second book in the Grimalkin Academy Kittens series. In this book, Mona a witch student at the Grimalkin Academy magic is still acting wonky. She is trying to figure out why every spell she completes correctly has the side effect of a living kitten appearing. Thankfully, all of Mona’s friends are helping research the problem to find the answer. She is also trying to keep up with her magical studies and decide which of the boys who are interested her she should date. This book is full of exciting young romance, twists, turns, mystery, and suspense. I love reading about Mona and her magically appearing kittens. This book is cute, funny, and full of irreverent irony. This is the perfect paranormal academy read for anyone who finds humor and suspense a delightful combination. Second Time’s a Curse is a wonderfully humorous and suspenseful tale.

Second Time's A Curse is book two of the Grimalkin Academy and I recommend you read book one First Times A Charm before this one otherwise you will be lost. Mona is still having kittens and problems controlling her magic. This is a short novella with humor, drama, fun characters, magic, cute kittens and a curse that needs to be figured out. I can't wait to read the next book in this series to find out what happens next.

Kittens, kittens, and more kittens. I was too sure about to to being with, but it quickly grew on me and I love the little tid bits about the kittens. The stories mystery is deepening and adding more along the way in this book. Mona's is gathering admirers fast and now is faced with the question what to do with all 3 of them. As answers are being looked for about Mona's cursed magic, more and more questions are being found instead. Now thrown in is the mystery of an unnamed brother-sister set of Sirens at the academy and a betrayal. This had a heartbreaking ending that leaves you dying to read the next one. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The laughs keep coming but there's also angst and the painstakingly slow process of trying to figure out how to break the curse. You have to have read the first book in order for this one to make sense so read that first. This is the continuation but it does not end here. The mystery is still not solved and need to find out what happens in the third. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
