I love Carly Phillips. This book has some bad reviews. I enjoyed it though. I must admit that it would not be as good if I had not read Cross My Heart first. There are too many references to Ty and Lacey and to Molly's past. Hunter is a hunk. Molly eventually figures things out. Give it a chance, but read both books.

I read Cross my Heart first, and was very excited to start Sealed with a Kiss. I love Hunter's character; I think Carly Phillips got him right. But,even though it was necessary for the story line, Molly's personality just irked me. The complete emotional dependence on her family got old really fast (again, important for the story line, but still equally irritating). The downfall was that Carly Phillips has the tendency to go for the overdramatic plots/storylines, which can sometimes come off as cheesy and very soap-operaish. Overall, I would say that it is an entertaining read.

Since reading of Molly & Hunter in the first of the series 'Cross My Heart', I've been counting the days until I could get my hands on it! I was so excited I read it one day! The push and pull of emotions that both Molly & Hunter deal with makes you wonder what the next move will be. The interaction between the two of them is realistic and hot. The other minor characters - the Commander, the younger sister, and even the bird are hilarious.

Less than a year ago, Molly Gifford left her boyfriend Daniel Hunter, their hometown, and her profession behind because of a clue as to the whereabouts of her biological father. Daniel was heartbroken that Molly deserted him, but has begun to move past his loss.------------ That is until now. Molly has come back in need of Daniel, but not as her lover. Her father has been arrested on first degree murder Molly believes Daniel is the best attorney to represent him. He reluctantly agrees not for her sake, but because he believes her dad is innocent. However, this time he plans to hide his heart as he rejects the notion of a second chance unlike his best friend Tyler (see CROSS MY HEART) with a woman who will leave once he completes her request.-------------- This is an enjoyable second chance at love contemporary romance. The story line looks deep into differing relationships that compete for the affection of the prime key that ties everyone together. In this case the focus is Molly who is pulled by a desire to have her father in her life vs. her love for Daniel. The legal thriller subplot enhances the tangle of a triangle between a father, his daughter, and her beloved, who happens to be his lawyer.------------ Harriet Klausner

ARC for honest review with no compensation Sealed with a Kiss by Carly Phillips is part of the Ty and Hunter series, this book is a standalone. Daniel Hunter, a hot, sexy lawyer at the top of his game is trying to get over and move on since losing Molly Gifford in book 1. Until Molly shows up at his door asking for his help defending her biological father. Will he help her, not lost his heart again, getting over the past suspense, and maybe finding their HEA...

4.5 Stars I was anticipating this one after finishing Cross My Heart. It lived up to my expectations. This book caused a book hangover because I just couldn't put it down. I knew I was going to love Hunter and Molly's journey I just didn't know how much. Seeing Molly finally get everything she wished for since she was a little girl was beautiful. I loved her family. What a great cast of characters. Her grandmother was a hoot especially her bird. This book really packs in the feels. There are also some twists that you don't see coming that is one of things that kept me on the edge of my seat. This a book you won't want to pass up!

This is another reissue that is perfectly refreshing and up to date. This second chance romance has everything you need in a read, romance, suspense, drama, twists, turns, and humor. Hunter and Molly went to law school together and were involved until Molly left to find her biological father. When she discovers he is being accused of murder the only person she feels can help is Hunter but will he put aside the fact she left him and actually help her now. Hunter does not want to get sucked into the drama but he cannot let Molly deal with this alone but he is not going to let his heart get involved again. Yea, right. It was so much fun to watch these two circle each other and figure everything out. This one can be read as a standalone but I really recommend you read Cross My Heart first for some of the back story and because it is a great book too! Definitely a great two-book series! **Received this ARC for review**

Great rerelease This was the second book in his series that was rereleased, I loved Hunter and Molly’s story the first and the second time. Carly Phillips never disappoints. This was a great second chance story. I couldnt put this wonderful quick suspenseful read down, that I highly recommend reading. There were many twists and turns with the case against Molly’s father. Will Hunter be able to move on with out getting hurt.

This story features Molly and Hunter. This second chance romance has plenty of drama that runs through each and every member of Molly’s family. Hunter really has his hands full. There’s a lot of soul-searching and self-discovery going on here, as well as building some sibling relationships. The story was good but it didn’t feel like the emotional, sexy, angsty stories I’ve come to expect from this author.

Molly left everything behind to find herself but she wasn't expecting things to go the way they have. The man she thought was her father turns out not to be and he leads her to the man that actually is her dad. Molly decides to find him and hopes to form a loving and lasting relationship, something that has been sorely missing in her life. Not only does she find him she now has two half sisters and a grandmother to boot. When her father is accused of murder and is arrested she learns quickly that the attorney they hired to help him isn't worth his weight. She decides to turn to the man who tried to be a part of her life but who she turned down and left behind so that she could find herself. When a knock came to Hunter's door he wasn't expecting for it to be Molly. He hasn't seen her in close to a year and is still hurting from her departure. He doesn't want to help her out but being the nice guy that he is he can't just leave her hanging. He tells her that he will help but as far as they are concerned there is nothing to talk about. Follow along as the two try to help Molly's father and at the same time figure out just how they feel about each other. Hunter still has feelings, he never lost them but he doesn't want to get hurt again. Molly still hasn't found what she is looking for and although she has feelings for Hunter she doesn't know what to do about them. Will the two talk and let their true feelings show or will Hunter leave town saying bye to Molly forever? This was a touching read that had you cheering for the two to end up together. You couldn't help but wan them to figure it all out and come together in the end.

Powerful story about family and belonging! Molly's flighty, neglectful mother has left Molly adrift without a solid foundation, until she discovers who her birth father really is and is immediately accepted into his family. When he's arrested for a murder, she is certain of his innocence, and equally certain that the only criminal defense lawyer that can save him is the one man she had to walk away from - Daniel Hunter. Hunter doesn't want to take the case because he doesn't want his heart trampled on again, but he just can't let an innocent man suffer if there's anything he can do to help. He takes on the case and takes on Molly and her seemingly hot and cold attitude towards him, all the while vowing to keep his heart detached and protected. Their romance started - briefly - in the previous book in this series, Cross My Heart. While this book does a fine job of filling in the blanks so you don't have to have read the first book first, I highly recommend it because it's a terrific book on its own and it gives a lot more feeling and insight into these two characters. This story is filled with emotion, strong family values, a wonderfully heartfelt passion between Molly and Hunter, and just enough suspense and intrigue to keep it fast-paced and exciting. The HEA was so, so beautiful, everything a romance should be. I highly recommend this book for all true romance lovers. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

From the moment they met in law school, Hunter and Molly became the best of friends, but Hunter always wanted more. Molly was a little apprehensive though, given past hurts, and pushed off his advances. But, before long he began to sneak past her defenses, and she soon gave in and accepted his offer for a date. Not long after they fell hard for one another, but she always felt a small part of herself was missing, she longed to know more about her real father, and began digging, and when she discovered his whereabouts she knew she had to leave and find him. Which also meant putting an end to her relationship with Hunter, and that hurt more than she cared to admit. Now she is back in town, standing on his doorstep praying he can provide the help she needs to clear her father of murder charges. She just has to hope that he can look past the hurt she caused him in the past, and agree to work alongside her once again. Sealed with a Kiss is a gripping little page-turner that comes brimming with drama, suspense, heart-wrenching emotion, and steam riddled throughout it's pages. Hold on tight cause this one will take you on a thrilling literary ride, it sucked me in and wouldn't let go until I had devoured every last page. You couldn't help but feel for these characters, both had been dealt a crappy hand in life, and I had to admire the way they continued to bounce back from every set-back they faced, they were quite inspiring. I thoroughly enjoyed this one, it was a perfectly blended story, that satisfied on all fronts! Highly recommend!

We met Daniel Hunter in Cross My Heart and now he gets to have his own happy ending. Back in law school Hunter met Molly Gifford and was instantly smitten. He tried multiple times to get her to go out with him but nothing ever panned out. Now Molly is in Hawken's Cove because her mom is engaged to Lilly's Uncle Mark. When Molly's mom's engagement ends, and Molly finds out who her real dad is, she decides to leave town and Hunter to go find the family she has always longed for. After being gone a year, Molly all of a sudden shows up on Hunter's doorstep needing his help. Her real father has been charged with murder and Molly needs him to defend her dad. Hunter reluctantly agrees but decides he is walking away from Molly for good once the trial is over. Throughout the investigation into the murder, Molly and Hunter grow close again and they both realize they never stopped loving the if they could only trust the other. It was really fun going through the mystery of who killed Molly's dad's partner and the final reveal was worth it. Throughout this story Molly realizes that she has finally found what she always wanted in her new family and especially in Hunter. I just loved all the crazy characters in Molly's new family. Grandma "Commander" Edna was a hoot as well as her macaw, Ollie. Overall this was a fun romance with a little bit of mystery thrown in and a perfect happy ending.

Molly had been searching her whole life for a family. Hunter had a family of his own making and really didn’t feel a need for anything else. Except for Molly. But could Molly ever choose him first? Or would her desire for family above all else push him away for good? This is a re-release of an earlier story written by Carly Phillips. It is also the second story in a duet but can totally be read as a stand-alone. It has all of the emotional feels of family angst, a little mystery and LOTS of steamy romance, along with the HEA that we know and love to read.

**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title in exchange for an honest review** Sealed with a Kiss is the second book in Carly Phillips Ty and Hunter series. While you don't have to read Cross My Heart first, it is helpful in giving you some context regarding Molly and Hunter's past relationship. Molly and Hunter have been circling around one another for some time. They attended the same law school and when they were living in Hunter's hometown both practicing law, they grew close as they worked to unravel a mystery that affected Ty and Lacey, the people that Hunter considers his family. When Molly learns that the man she thought was her father actually isn't, she leaves her old life behind in search of her biological father and to "find herself" as well. Obviously, that included leaving Hunter behind as well. Once Molly connects with her real father, things go south in a hurry when he is accused of murder. There is only one person Molly thinks of that can help her in this situation - Hunter. The question is will he be able to help the woman who hurt him so and then just take off or will things between Molly and Hunter turn romantic once again? This story is filled with a bit of everything. You have mystery and intrigue, you have family drama, humor and romance. I've always been a huge Carly Phillips fan and this is just another great book in her library!

She needs his help. He wants her heart. A complicated history makes working together a bad idea, but the heart wants what it wants. Molly is the one that walked away. Now she's back with a favor to ask. Hunter was left nursing a broken heart. Can he forget the past and accept the second chance headed his way? Phillips never makes love easy, but it's the journey of getting to the happy ending that keeps pulling me back to the ride. Sealed with a Kiss engages the heart from beginning to end.

I picked Sealed With A Kiss to be one of the featured books of the month for November because I have heard a lot of good things about Carly Phillips, but have never read one of her books. So I thought it was time. It was the cover of the book that first caught my eye. I thought it was pretty. I then learned that the book was the sequel to Cross My Heart, so I ended up having to read it first - which I did a few days ago, and really enjoyed the book.I thought Sealed With A Kiss was a lot better then Cross My Heart. There was more to the plot. I think the contributing factor to this was the secondary characters. The romance was a lot hotter too. As with Cross My Heart, I¿d recommend Sealed With A Kiss for a fun, quick, light read.
