Dub reggae pioneer and septuagenarian Lee "Scratch" Perry's brazenly-titled Scratch Came Scratch Saw Scratch Conquered comes in the wake of the higher-profile effort Repentance with "party music" producer Andrew W.K. Whereas the latter is a dance club ready ménage, the new disc is minimalist by comparison. It's a sequel of sorts to last year's Grammy-nominated The End of an American Dream, a collaboration with multi-instrumentalist Steve Marshall (also credited as producer "John Saxon" -- one of many handles Perry bestows on him).
