I loved this magazine for a long time when I had a print subscription. The photography, writing, and the topics covered are just a joy to read. B&N's NOOKcolor has done an excellent job making this magazine accessible on an eReader. I can even zoom in on the photography and enjoy the quality pictures.

Saveur is by far my favorite cooking magazine. The photography is spectacular with high quality photographs for each issue. The articles are interesting and sometimes provocative. The travel suggestions appreciated. The recipes I have tried have all been a hit.

Do not subscribe to this until B&N makes changes to the price and number of issues. The information here is erroneous. This is a fabulous magazine. The images are spectacular. This is the magazine that really started the foodie trend, must have exceptional images, great stories, food from around the world. Food magazines and web sites strive to deliver what Savuer does. I bought the first edition when it came out so many years ago, subscribed to the print edition, then went to digital a few years ago. There is only one problem. Sadly, Savuer is down to only 4 issues per year, from 9 issues previously. I used to get the subscription on my Nook because I didn't want a bunch of paper magazines cluttering up my home. Now that it has gone to only 4 per year, and they really are beautiful to look at, I am going back to the post office delivered print edition. For some reason, Barnes and Noble still thinks that there are 9 issues and wants to charge $19.99 per year for a Nook subscription. I can get the beautiful print edition for only $12.00 a year. Why should I pay an extra $7.99 for 5 issues that don't exist? B&N needs to reduce the price accordingly. I actually spoke with someone at B&N today, February 11, 2018, about this and they said that the publisher Bonnier, has not sent them this information, but B&N did acknowledge that there are only 4 issues and the subscription change is pending.

I love this magazine for it's international recipes and cultures, however, the last couple of months they appear to be americanizing their content.... I hope it's temporary.
