Angie Francombe was born in January 1971 in Cúcuta, Colombia. She grew up in Colombia and moved overseas when she was 23. She has lived in the Caribbean, Asia and Europe and currently resides in the UK. Angie has always had a keen interest for fantasy stories, but chose to study Art and Design. After becoming a Mum, Angie realised her heart was still in children's fantasy literature and although having no background in writing, decided to embark on a journey to write a children's novel. Angie is married to a New Zealander and they have 3 children and a dog.
