Romancing the Recluse
Viktor Dracodomus has been a recluse for almost 100 years choosing to live his life far away from the humans after the betrayal of a women he thought to be his. More and more these days Viktor lives his life in his dragon self rather than his human. Although he knows he must soon return to his human form and to civilisation as his 600th birthday approaches he must try to find his mate or he could become impotent forever.
Born of privilege Samantha Egan was devastated after the death of her parents in a plane crash that changed her life forever. Samantha was now a wealthy heiress never knowing who she could trust and finding it hard to stay focused or hold down a job. While on her way home after being let go from her latest volunteer position Samantha is drawn to Belvedere Castle in Central Park she feels a slight twinge in her heart as she had not been here since visiting with her dad as a little girl.
Samantha feel as though she is being pulled by an outside force and as she looks around she notices a man, a very well dress nice looking man lying on a bench and he doesn't seem to be breathing. She convinces herself she can save him and after arguing with herself give him CPR. When she hears a moan Samantha freezes but before she has time to react she finds herself in an enticing kiss like she had never known. Viktor opens his eyes to see the most beautiful creature before him and pulls her closer to deepen the kiss and forgetting everything around them. Their kiss is broken when they are told to move on by an Officer and when Samantha can breathe again she does what she does best she runs.
Viktor finds himself left with a choice let the fear of his past hold him back or go after the gorgeous redhead that makes his primitive instincts desire to claim every inch of her.
The choice is easy and with that Viktor is gone to find the redhead and make her his.
The character and the storyline in this book were so well written you just breathe in every word as you turn the pages just waiting to see what happen next. This book can be read alone but if you love it like I did I would recommend you read Tipping the Scales by Mandy Roth which is Zarek Dracodomus Viktor's bothers story. Both of these stories can be found in Stop Dragging My Heart Around

Fast, Fun & Hot Read!
I love love love Dragons! Why you ask? Because they are fierce and beautiful, sexy, dominate, and freakn’ have huge c o c k s! LOL. This story was a great Novella, it had a short world building but enough to give the reader an idea of the back ground Viktor came from and how old of a dragon he was.
The connection between Viktor and Samantha was sizzling hot and their erotic scenes were shy of nothing as he gave it to her quick and hard. The plot was cute as Viktor realizes he needs to find a mate before his 600 birthday, however after living in isolation for over 100 years, he has a lot to learn about the new and changed world.
This quote from the Dragon character Viktor says it all about how possessive and dominate he is when he speaks to Samantha:
“Soon I will lay claim to every inch of you. Your c u n t, a s s, and lips will be marked as mine.”
Through it all, Viktor had a lot to learn but Samantha learned as well as she was thrust into the world of Dragon shifters she had no idea existed. The ending was perfect as everyone adapted and new life is introduced to the series. I look forward to reading more about the Dragcodomus species and their families.
