As a Rock Chick, Shirleen Jackson lived through all the kidnappings and explosions. Along the way, she also watched the dramatic love stories that came with those rides unfold. But long ago, Shirleen made her choice. It affected who she was and would always be. She decided to settle for what she had and not want more. She had good friends. She was raising two fine young men who weren't hers, but she loved them anyway. She was good. And then Moses Richardson crashed into her life, literally...and deliberately. Moses has different ideas about Shirleen. He's more interested in the Shirleen of now, mostly because she's interesting. And funny. And loyal. Smart. Beautiful. But Moses has a big challenge on his hands. He has to convince Shirleen of all that. And then convince her she deserves to have more.

About the Author

Kristen Ashley is the New York Times bestselling author of over sixty romance novels including the Rock Chick, Colorado Mountain, Dream Man, Chaos, Unfinished Heroes, The 'Burg, Magdalene, Fantasyland, The Three, Ghost and Reincarnation and Honey series along with several standalone novels. She's a hybrid author, publishing titles both independently and traditionally, her books have been translated in thirteen languages and she's sold nearly three million books.

Kristen's novel, Law Man, won the RT Book Reviews Reviewer's Choice Award for best Romantic Suspense, her independently published title Hold On was nominated for RT Book Reviews best Independent Contemporary Romance and her traditionally published title Breathe was nominated for best Contemporary Romance. Kristen's titles Motorcycle Man, The Will, and Ride Steady (which won the Reader's Choice award from Romance Reviews) all made the final rounds for Goodreads Choice Awards in the Romance category.

Kristen, born in Gary and raised in Brownsburg, Indiana, was a fourth generation graduate of Purdue University. Since, she has lived in Denver, the West Country of England, and she now resides in Phoenix. She worked as a charity executive for eighteen years prior to beginning her independent publishing career. She now writes full-time.

Although romance is her genre, the prevailing themes running through all of Kristen's novels are friendship, family and a strong sisterhood. To this end, and as a way to thank her readers for their support, Kristen has created the Rock Chick Nation, a series of programs that are designed to give back to her readers and promote a strong female community.

The mission of the Rock Chick Nation is to live your best life, be true to your true self, recognize your beauty, and last but definitely not least, take your sister's back whether they're at your side as friends and family or if they're thousands of miles away and you don't even know who they are. The programs of the RC Nation include Rock Chick Rendezvous, weekends Kristen organizes full of parties and get-togethers to bring the sisterhood together, Rock Chick Recharges, evenings Kristen arranges for women who have been nominated to receive a special night, and Rock Chick Rewards, an ongoing program that raises funds for nonprofit women's organizations Kristen's readers nominate. Kristen's Rock Chick Rewards have donated over $125,000 to charity and this number continues to rise.

Someone should correct the blurb. This book is Shirleen finally getting her HEA. Loved it! And I always suspected KA was Jane's pen name ;). Sad RC's are at an end but couldn't have ended any better. Epilogue hinted at Rock Chick 2nd Generation? With Roam's love and kidnappings - Please say it's so!

I have no idea what the blurb is about. This book is SHIRLEEN!!! Kristen Ashley at her finest. The whole crew, almost, is here. Ms. Ashley says the Rock Chicks are done, but what about Darius? And Roam? And Sniff? Thank you, thank you for this book. I just wish it was 1000 pages longer.

Wow! The ending of the book was fantastic! It could have seriously been 300 more pages longer though! Wish it wasn't over. The cliffhanger is very promising.

I loved this book. It is not your normal Rock Chicks book but it is a great addition to the series. So many things in this book made me smile and laugh out loud. Shirlene and Moses make the perfect couple and Moses is exactly what Shirlene needed in a man. This series must be read in order and I guarantee you will love each and every book!

B&N needs to get on board that the blurb is wrong and correct it to Shirleen and Moses. Great story but what's up with the ending? KA just left us hanging.

This was an exceptional read and I enjoyed every second. From the sweet to the heat, as well as the entertaining moments and all the emotion, I couldn't get enough. Shirleen and Moses were amazing! I've always loved Shirleen and her big personality so getting to really know her and get more details on her back story was awesome and heartbreaking all rolled into one. She is just such a strong, independent woman and getting to see her vulnerabilities and struggles was something else. I adored Shirleen’s love interest, Moses. He was so sweet, caring and patient. He was genuine and open with that bit of alpha male I loved and I thought he was the perfect match for Shirleen. I loved their flirting, being open and sharing with one another. There were so many fun, entertaining moments as well as some emotional ones. They had a wonderful relationship and I loved watching it grow. Besides Moses and Shirleen's wonderful relationship, there was also Shirleen’s relationships with others. There were so many amazing character interactions. I loved seeing her with the Hot Bunch, there was just so much love and it was so fun to read. I loved seeing the Rock Chicks as well and getting updates on where everyone was at. The most precious thing of all, for me, was Shirleen’s relationship with Roam and Sniff. I have adored this trio and what Shirleen has built with them. I loved, beyond words, seeing who they've all become and how they grew together and have become a family. There were just so many amazing moments that had me smiling and laughing and tearing up thanks to all of them. This was an excellent story. The writing was great, I loved the details and development. It was a shorter story yes, but it packed a punch and was full of everything I love. KA a did a brilliant job with this send off. I'm so sad it's over, I truly am. This is one of my favorite series of all time. I can't say enough good things or recommend it enough. I had a blast reading this and enjoyed every second, this was a fantastic read!
