This book is horrible, but my instructor is persisting we use it. The book needs to be updated. BADLY. This book was published in 1972. Today's college students were born in the late 80's, early 90's. The authors are probably dead. If not, they need to do some serious revising. It is a hard read for anyone who was born after 1975. The black and white pictures are also terrible. There are questions after each chapter that suppose to help with comprehending, but there are no answers to these questions in the back of the book. So how do are you suppose to know if you are correct? The book also give exercises to complete with NO help as how to complete them, not even in the chapter. This book needs another edition that will help TODAY'S college student better understand the concepts and creation of physics.
