About the Author

Bill Raynor is a graduate of Dartmouth College and earned his M.Ed from Antioch College.
He currently serves as the Director of Athletics, Recreation and Wellness as well as the
Director of the Young Men of Color program at MassBay Community College. Raynor works diligently with the at risk student population developing and implementing programs created to address the academic and retention issues which have plagued this population. Bill speaks throughout the country sharing his poetry and delivering inspirational messages. Bill's first book is entitled- Poetry in Motion: The Meaning of
Sports in Everyday Life.
