Kelly, loves the game of basketball. Not only does she enjoy playing it in the back yard with her best friend Ester, but Kelly also loves to play on her middle school basketball team. When Kelly is playing basketball with Ester she has great skill, but once she hits the court, she changes into a clumsy, butter hands. That is until she finds a pair of mysterious red high tops in her locker. The red sneakers make Kelly play like a superstar, and for the first time, everyone starts to notice her, including her crush Anthony. After a while of playing like a superstar, Kelly¿s most special friendships begin to unravel. Kelly blames the sneakers for the negative changes in her life.
