This book integrates scientific research on burnout with Scripture to produce the most effective set of burnout prevention skills available for ministers. Almost every minister experiences burnout at some point during their career. The high level of vicarious stressors makes ministry fundamentally more stressful than secular occupations. These vicarious stressors remain mostly unpreventable and unmanageable. However, ministers can:

• Develop research-proven skills for physical resilience.

• Develop research-proven skills for emotional resilience.

• Develop Bible-based skills for spiritual resilience
