A divorced couple battles for control in the boardroom but things heat up when their competition reaches the bedroom.

Ten years ago,  I divorced the love of my life for all the wrong reasons. I had no idea he'd walk through my office door ten years later as my new boss, more handsome than ever, determined to make me pay for my sins. My knees go weak every time I look at him. Too bad he hates me. He's determined to make my life hell. The only thing I know for sure? We can still heat up the sheets. He thinks he can break me, but I'm not the girl I was.

From the bedroom to the boardroom, Sam and Dakota are locked in a battle of wits and desire. One of them will break. One of them will pay. Both of them want to win. Neither of them expects to fall in love—again.

You'll never look at a closed office door the same way again.

If you enjoyed the heat of Fifty Shades and the suspense of the Crossfire Series, pick up this intriguing series today.

About the Author

Jeana Mann is the author of sizzling hot contemporary romance. Her debut release Intoxicated was a First Place Winner of the Cleveland Rocks Romance Contest, a finalist in the Carolyn Readers’ Choice Awards, and fourth place winner in the International Digital Awards. She is a member of Romance Writers’ of America (RWA).
Jeana was born and raised in Indiana where she lives today with her two crazy rat terriers Mildred and Mabel. She graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Speech and Hearing, something totally unrelated to writing. When she’s not busy dreaming up steamy romance novels, she loves to travel anywhere and everywhere. Over the years she climbed the ruins of Chichen Iza in Mexico, snorkeled along the shores of Hawaii, sailed around Jamaica, ate gelato on the steps of the Pantheon in Rome, and explored the ancient city of Pompeii. More important than the places she’s been are the people she has met along the way.

I loved this book until it just ended, came to a dead stop, I thought I was missing pages as it just had 2 blank pages then realized it really had just abruptly stopped. About 205 pages. Not sure if the next book has an ending to it, but I will not be forced to buy a book to find out what I should know with the one I just read. It is not a true stand alone. Would have been 5 stars if was not a cliff hanger. GJRA

CLIFFHANGER!!!! I hate it when an author is so insecure that in order to generate book sales they hope to get you invested in the storyline, the characters, and the feelings that they leave you on the cusp. Worse yet, this time the overview intrigued me, so I did not read the reviews. If I had I wpuldn' t have invested my time in reading this bully. Why are there so many readers that applauded this method of writing is a mystery to me. They may not have read the book but wanted to show that they were literate! If they had read it, they could forewarn the interested public by stating "Great storyline. The cliffhanger is making me await the next volume for an ending!"...

Love the book. The ending was very abrupt thought there should have been another something other than purchasing another book

I enjoyed this story, I just wish it had a clear ending instead of a cliffhanger.

Typical love - hate story. Likeable characters. A bit redundant. I just wanted to tell them to get on with it.

His book was amazing. If I had to put it into a category, I would put it in with the notebook type books. This life story brought tears of sadness, happiness and made me laugh. I can’t wait to see what’s into for the next book in the series.

It ended at the end, there's apparently sequels but it would've been perfect as a stand alone.

Good story, bad read! Bing-bang; back and forth, present and past. It was like trying to simultaneously eat at two restaurants. Come on, how do you mix kosher with mu-shu pork... both good by themselves but intermixed?? Come-on!!
