Predatory Game is book six of the ghost walker series about a group of almost at times super-human warriors. Whose abilities were enhanced by Dr.Whitney an evil genius trying to create the perfect soldier. I found it to be a very enjoyable read and well worth waiting for . The plot is still really interesting in spite of the fact that this story has already been done, several times in fact. Like the other ghost walker stories it's filled with lot's of action and adventure, romance and suspense along with a little hot sex sex thrown in. Unlike some of the previous stories this one does focus more on the developing relationship between Jess, a ghostwalker who was injured on a previous mission and can no longer walk. But still manages to be a force to be reckoned with when under attack . And Saber, who is one of the orphan girls that Dr. Whitney first used in his experiments. Sabre has one of the most deadly skills ever seen in a ghostwalker, she can kill with a touch. Something that makes the other ghostwalkers more than a little leery around her. I found the author to be accurate in her portrayal of Sabre who is very likable but at times seems a little young and childish. Which when you think about it is to be expected, after all she didn't have the typical upbringing. She was isolated and used from a very young age as an assassin and that's not exactly conductive to learning social skills...

Predatory Game is the sixth book in the GhostWalkers series. It features Navy SEAL Jesse Calhoun and Saber Wynter. We met Jesse in Mind Game, the 2nd in the series, where he was acting as a handler for Dahlia. He was critically injured and is still recovering in Predatory Game. This book is a little different from the others in the series in that the main characters are together for a while before they become involved and face serious danger together. You'll love them!

Predatory Game (Ghostwalkers Series #6) by Christine Feehan is great. I can feel the love between the main characters, Saber Wynter and Jess Calhoun. I did not read the previous installments, and although I am usually very meticulous about reading a series in order, I decided I would take the plunge. I generally like Feehan's novels, and this one did not disappoint. The characters are complex, the gadgets are high-tech, the plot is weaved with mystery and danger, and the erotic scenes are filled with passion and true love. This is a winner for me.

Have read all the Ghostwalkers Series and wish Christine Feehan would write quicker. Enjoy all characters returning in each book and the progression of their lives and friendship. This is purely imagination, but the connection between the men and the girls (who were enhanced when young) is great. If men like the Ghostwalker's existed I would definitley want them on my side. On a lighter note, wouldn't every woman like to have one of her own? These are not for readers with puritanical views, those who do not like really great descriptive sex should not read. Most friends I have introduced to Christine Feehan respond " great, steamy, do you have more", " better than chocolate '

Once again I amazed by Christine Feehans powerful stories. This book made me laugh and cry, sometimes in the same paragraph. As always I was drawn into the picture she paints with her words. The emotions this book evoked continue to make me think about her characters long after I've closed the last page. A definite keeper on my shelf, where I will reread it over and over, especially when I need a 'Feehan Fix' and a new book is not out. I love the diversity of characters and plots, and the worlds she creates in each of her series. This book is no exception I had to laugh as I read the reviews that suggested savoring it... oh, how I wish I could, but it was so riviting I had to gobble it up in one sitting, glued to the page. Nothing could tear me away! Now though, I do intent to sit down and savor it while I read it a second time. Love this book!

I loved this book. There was more time spent in character developement than a lot of Feehan's books and I loved both main characters. I've been waiting for Jess's book since we first saw him and he endured torture. This book had humor, and action and was one of the best of the series.

Jesse Calhoun, along with Ken and Jack Norton were introduced in the the second book in this series. He was Dahlia's handler and friend. He was also tortured for information on Dahlia. Ms. Feehan has a wonderful gift for introducing characters that grab your imagination and make you want to know more about them. Don't get me wrong I love all the characters that were introduced in the first book. I mean there were enough characters there to keep the series going for a long time. I was intrigued by Jesse as I am by any character that has a tortured past either childhood or as an adult. I was glad that Jess found someone that matched him so well and was as caring as Saber was. I also like how Ms. Feehan brings in characters from past books into each story so you never lose sight that these men ate committed to their team mates and their wives. There is more action in this book because there is a individual threat to Saber as well as a threat to Jesse and his team. When Jess and Saber finally decide to consummate their mutual hot and steamy attraction they definitely burn the house down. This is something else I like about Ms. Feehan, she doesn't seem to have a set formula for sex in a story. It could happen at any time depending on the people she happens to be writing about at the time. Another great story and I have already started the next book.

Predatory Game is book 6 in Christine Feehan's GhostWalker series. In this installment, Saber Wynter is fleeing from Dr. Peter Whitney and his sick experiments when she runs right into the arms ex-Navy SEAL and GhostWalker Jess Calhoun. As they live together, Saber and Jess discover each other's secrets, while staying a step ahead of the soldiers trying to reacquire them for Dr. Whitney's breeding program.Predatory Game is paranormal romantic suspense at its best. The tension is tight throughout the story, and the action sequence at the end is (forgive the pun) explosive! The main characters, Jess and Saber, are well-developed and strong, and are some of the most deadly GhostWalkers I've seen. As always, Feehan brings back some of her "old reliable" characters from previous books - Lily and Ryland, Ken and Mari, and Logan - along with some new faces for future books. An intriguing mixture of romance and science kept me reading and interested long after I put it down. As the doctor toys with his subjects from afar, the Whitney conspiracy is beginning to accelerate a bit, leaving the reader unsure of friends and foes. Predatory Game was a really satisfying read, and I was extremely happy with the outcome. Of all the GhostWalker books I've read, I have to say, Predatory Game is the most interesting. The storyline and characters captured me like no other book in the series has. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book!

The story line in this Ghostwalkers Book 6 was the best yet. The story concentrates on the plot more than the sex which I thought was a welcome change from some of the books in series that seemed to have a lot of sex. Saber is another of Whitney's experiments and has skills that we haven't encountered in the previous stories which made her very interesting. I have liked Jess from the first time he was introduced as he is not as violent as some of the other main male characters. I started this series with Book 1 and have been reading them in order so I am really enjoying the characters showing up over and over.

Saber Wynter is running -- from an ex-husband, an abusive past, from something deadly. A temporary job as the Night Siren, the DJ on an all-night radio station, has given her a bit of breathing room, but she knows it's only temporary sanctuary. The ad she answered gave her a job, a place to live, and a protector who doesn't scare her witless, but it can't last. Jess Calhoon may not know who or what Saber's hiding from, but he knows he'll do anything to keep her safe -- no, make that just plain keep her. Crippled in the line of duty and confined to a wheelchair, the ex-active duty Ghostwalker hasn't given up getting back into action, even if it means taking risky surgical chances to achieve his goal. But when Saber is threatened, and the truth comes out, even the combined skills of Saber, Jess and his Ghostwalker team may not be enough to save them.Feehan's last couple of additions to this series have been a bit shaky, relying overly much on hot sex scenes, and skimping on dialog and character development. I wouldn't give her an A+ just yet, but this is a big improvement.

Taken as an orphan, genetically enhanced and tortured by evil scientists, Saber still looks sweet and innocent, but she's far from it. Her touch can kill. She escapes and finds herself working for Jesse Calhoun who, unknown to her, is a Ghostwalker. You find find the book trailer for this on the author's MySpace blog if you're interested. This book is very different from the previous Ghostwalker books. It centers on the couple and their relationship more than any of the other books in the series. If you love romance this is great for you, if you prefer more action/adventure this may seem a bit slow compared to the others.I enjoyed it a great deal. Loved that Jesse's handicap isn't used for sympathy and that he comes across as heroic as any of her other heroes in past books. This is a fun read that I do recommend, but know that it is different from the other books in the series.

As with many of her recent books, this one too focuses way too much on the sex scenes and not enough on what really could be a great story line. The plot twists and general background story of are really quite good, and could be phenomenal if they were better developed. However, it seems that the characters take a back seat to the increasingly graphic sex. This one follows Saber and Jess, both ghostwalkers and both living together without a clue of the others past. Jess is wheelchair bound following being tortured and saber is running from her past. They find love and an intersting use for Sabers phychic gifts. I want to love these characters because I think the whole premise of this series is excellent, but again, I ended up skimming huge sections of the book because the graphic sex is repeated over and over again.

Title: Predatory Game - Ghostwalker Novel Book 6 Author: Christine Feehan Publisher: Berkley Publishing Date of Publishing: December 28, 2008 The sixth in the paranormal romance series about genetically enhanced soldiers by Christine Feehan. Jesse Calhoun, first mentioned in Mind Game, book 2 in the series, is still recovering from the numerous serious injuries he received. After taking in Saber Winter as a housekeeper/ companion as well as the voice of late night radio. She is being stalked and both are hiding secrets that can tear them apart. When her stalker grows closer, Jess discovers her deepest secret and Saber prepares to run. In order to protect Jess she remains and finds that no one is who they seem and she doesn't know who to trust. This series is best read in order, but you can get away with reading Predatory Game as on its own with out too many problems. Mention is made of characters from previous books but there was enough explanations to explain their past stories enough to keep the readers from being confused. With strong characters and a well laid out plot that flows quickly and smoothly. I gave " Predatory Game" a 4.5 out of a total of 5 stars.

I liked most of the book but skipped over all the sex scenes. I'm not a prude but why do all the authors now seem to think we need to know all the details??? I also got tired of the over use of the cutesy nicknames, especially baby and angel face. I did like that many of the Ghostwalkers from past books were present or mentioned.
