Still cute, but way to expensive.

I adored this book as a child, so I brought it to a baby shower in lieu of a card with a personal message from my family to the soon-to-arrive baby. Hope they love it as much as I did.

I was able to see all the pages when I used the Read It To Myself feature, but the application crashed every time I tried to use the Read To Me feature.

Part of the cost is the re-issuing of the book. The reader and sounds are excellent. For many more "mature" people the cost is well worth it to once again experience this wonderful CLASSIC.

I was disappointed to learn, after buying, that the song is not part of the interactive activities.

My son and daughter (3&9) both love this book. I own the paper version as well. I remember this story being read to me when I was young. Very cool that it was made interactive, ingeniously too.

"The Poky Little Puppy" is a book about five puppies that dig a hole underneath the fence in their yard so that they can venture into the world everyday. They would all run up the hill together, but one of the puppies was a bit poky and usually didn't keep up with the others. At the end of each day the smell of desert would call the puppies home, but they always had to go to bed without any because they kept misbehaving. The poky little puppy would come home late after everyone was asleep, eat all the desert himself, and go to bed happy. Eventually all the puppies learned their lesson and understood that if they ever wanted to get any desert, then they must behave and stop digging holes!
